This is what Bitsy (over there on the left, by the blue bag of clay litter) and Barney were doing the first few days after I brought them home. He was just chilling – and perfectly happy to be pulled out so he could be snuggled – but she was hiding.
She’s not hiding any more, though. I can barely get in the room with them before she’s squeaking at me, demanding that I sit down so she can sit in my lap.
Bitsy keeps a close eye on her brother.
When she’s not busy taking a bath, that is.
She’s one clean little monkey.
Barney loves him some feather teaser.
Bitsy just watches him like she’s thinking “Can’t you sit down and be a gentleman?”
He can’t help it. He’s a wild thing!
Sometimes, though, Bitsy can’t help it. She gets overwhelmed and has to take a swipe at the teaser herself, even if it’s nowhere near her.
I love how Corbie’s running over to see what’s going on (and Sugarbutt on the table.)
This picture is chock-full of permanent residents. Corbie, Jake, Miz Poo, Sugarbutt, and Alice (over on the arm of the couch, peeking over the back) are all present.
I guess Sungold is more interested in the back of the couch than Da Bird.
More clearing out of the Permanent Residents picture folder. Today, Tommy!
Just such a pretty, pretty boy.
