The kittens did not notice Mimosa’s absence yesterday.
(I am leaving here in a little while to go pick her up and bring her back here. The kittens may be hissy at her – because she’ll smell like the vet – or they may just be like “Oh hi, Mama.” It’s usually the latter.)
Clover and Kudzu have a snuggle in the Fruittasan.
Kudzu vamoosed (look at the SMILE on Clover’s face), and Hollyhock did her balancing exercises.
Mondo and Hollyhock have a tussle, giving Hollyhock an opportunity to show off her Open Mouth of Outrage.
Kudzu’s all “Gonna just take a quick nap.”
And Bramble and Kudzu enjoyed the taco bed.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
We are outta here! Mimosa’s off to the vet today for her spay surgery (and after her vocal performance overnight, I am EVER so glad!) She’ll spend the night at the vet and I will pick her up and bring her back here tomorrow.
If anyone out there is seriously interested in adopting this sweet girl, now would be a good time to email the rescue I am fostering for, Forgotten Felines of Huntsville, at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire. (Just Mimosa; the kittens aren’t taking applications for another couple of weeks yet.) WE ARE LOCATED IN HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA.
We think Mimosa is about 2 years old. She’s a sweet, confident girl and though we haven’t been able to let her around our permanent residents (she’s still got that protective-mama thing going on), I am certain that as long as she’s introduced to other cats properly (slowly), she’d be just fine with other cats. She’s a sweet, snuggly talkative girl, and just an all-around sweetheart.
Forgotten Felines of Huntsville DOES allow out of area adoptions, but adopters MUST come to Huntsville, Alabama to complete the adoption.
Again: info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.

I took this video yesterday (Mimosa is at the vet today being spayed, YAY!) and the kittens were having way too much fun. And Mimosa even took some time off from yowling to get some love from me, and to play.
I don’t know what Kudzu and Clover were doing, but they certainly look GUILTY.
Good night innernets. (Clover & Mondo)
