I just love Wren’s crazy whiskers so much.
Tater and Starling are all “Yes, lady, those are some crazy whiskers all right.”
Tater and Starling on the ham-mick, giving me attitude.
Wren and Rufous are considering a nap.
Napping with kittens is just the best.

I don’t remember what Khal and Newt were looking at here, but I’d guess it was probably kittens being kittens. They do not approve of such shenanigans.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Now that the kittens have the run of the upstairs, my desk is constantly infested with kittens (in this case Starling and Wren), who think that it is the HAPPENING place to be. Thank god for that keyboard protector (though Rufous tries to climb under it and play with my keyboard, of course.)
We have an update on Ruby (formerly Zelda) and Opal (formerly Myrtle)! Maureen says: “The girls are doing great. They are getting very comfortable in their new home and have now ventured out more into the rest of the house; when supervised. Friends and family have stopped by for visits and they haven’t minded whatsoever.” Awww, look how stressed Ruby is (NOT). Sleeping like that is obviously a family trait!

Rufous loves that red spring SO VERY MUCH.
Starling absolutely adores that Toastycat bed; she sleeps in it all the time. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a foster that liked it as much as she does. (I would say that it’ll go home with her buuuut Toastycat has been sold out of the beds for several months, and I’m not sure when/if they’ll be available again and I don’t wanna give up the only one I have! 😭 ) (I mean, I WILL send it home with her if she continues to love it so because I am not a monster, but I will be sad about it!)

Wren loves to get in this bed and chase her tail. This time, she gets some encouragement from Starling at the beginning. And though I tell her that I don’t think she’s going to catch it, you can see that she DOES actually catch it a few times. She can catch it – she just can’t keep it!
