Good morning, innernets. We’re feeling very smug today, apparently. (Gabrielle (left) and Josephine.)

I was trying to get Josephine to talk to me, because she’d been telling me about her kill (that sparkly ball between her paws), and Gabrielle came up to request some lap time. So, if you’ve wondered what Gabrielle sounds like, there you go.
JoJo’s keeping an eye on Earl the Skwerl.
If you read the blog this morning, you met our latest foster, Natalia. She came to us on Saturday; she showed up stray in someone’s yard. They thought she might be pregnant and asked for help from Forgotten Felines of Huntsville. She went to the vet today, and not only is she not pregnant, she’s already spayed! (I am not even disappointed – this is good news for her, and I think we all know that it won’t be long before the pregnant cats are coming at us from every direction.)
Good night innernets. (Gabrielle)

Hooray, hooray, Josephine and Gabrielle were adopted and went home (to Birmingham!) today! They are going to be spoiled ROTTEN. Happy life, sweet girls (and yes, we will get updates!) ❤️
Josephine and Gabrielle (who will remain Josephine and Gabrielle) are now home in Birmingham. They initially hid under the bed (they’re being confined to a guest bedroom for a few days until they acclimate), but are now out and exploring the room. I was surprised to hear that Gabrielle was the first one out exploring, I expected Josephine to be the ringleader. (Thank you to Celeste, who’s keeping me updated!)
