Forgotten Felines of Huntsville is NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS for these two knuckleheads.

Sebastian (left) and Margarita.

They’ve been best friends since they were little, and so I would love for them to be adopted together. If absolutely no one is interested in them as a pair, then we’ll rethink that, but surely someone wants this silly duo.

Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire. They’re going for their spay/neuter on July 23rd, and could go home that weekend. (Note: Forgotten Felines DOES allow out of area adoptions, but the adopter must come here to complete the adoption.)

The Forgotten Felines of Huntsville auction page has a raffle going on NOW, for this gorgeous quilt.

Click on the picture above – or this link right here – to see more pictures and a video of the quilt. Entries are $5 each, and you can enter as many times as you’d like. You can see the instructions on the Facebook page, or (if you prefer not to Facebook), you can pay via PayPal to forgottenfelineshsv @ yahoo.com OR click on this link right here (be sure to note “quilt”), if you prefer Venmo, the user name is @Teresa-Franks-6 (last 4 digits of the phone number are 6572). (If you prefer a check/money order, email donations (at) ffhsv.org for the address.)

You don’t have to live locally – the quilt will be shipped if need be (yes, even outside of the US!)

Now that Benji, Margarita and Sebastian have the run of the house during the day, they’re seeing the permanent residents a lot more – and not only downstairs. Sometimes the permanent residents come upstairs to see what’s what!

Uncle Charlie came into the foster room to check out the food situation, and Sebastian was startled.

And Uncle Rocco said “I heard it’s time for breakfast?” I love that Sebastian’s tail is floofed, but it’s straight up and he’s coming over to greet Rocco.

Uncle Rocco said “Hey, let me help you guys with this. This is a LOT of food, we don’t want it to go to waste.”

Fred took Rocco back downstairs, and I love that Benji is floofed but eating, and Sebastian is looking at Benji like “That was weird, right?”

“That guy’s got some NERVE,” fumed Benji.

Later, downstairs, Aunt Alice was drinking water and attracted a crowd.

She growled at Margarita, who was really too close, and Margarita hissed.

Following Uncle Rocco through the house.

Margarita (on the stairs – she’s that black shadow three steps up) keeps an eye on the Roomba.

In case you wanted a gander at Lilia’s belly. Her incision is healing beautifully.

Nolan flops over mama’s foot for a rest.

Bath time for Nolan.

Kitten pie! (My favorite!) From left: Patsy, Owen and Nolan.

Patsy goes for a wander under Lilia’s watchful eye.

Happy little milk bar. (From front: Patsy, Nolan, Owen.)

The kittens are doing well – gaining weight every day, some days more than others. The weight chart is right here. It should default to the Alphabet Soup Gang, but if not you can use the tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet to get to the right sheet. There’s also a link to it at the bottom of their page (which I am aware needs updating; I’ll get to it this week. Or maybe not. We’ll see!)

Owen is still hanging onto his umbilical cord (a little unusual, but not worrying – I can’t remember which kitten it was, but someone in the last couple of years didn’t lose their umbilical cord until they were nearly 3 weeks old. As long as where it’s attached looks fine – and Owen’s belly is perfectly clean and not oozing or red – we just wait ’til they decide to let go.) His left eye started to open and was goopy, so he got a dab of ointment, which will hopefully fix it. Nolan and Patsy lost their umbilical cords, and now we wait for their eyes to start to open, which should be any time now!

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.

Nolan, Owen and Patsy are 5 days old! Nolan and Patsy have lost their umbilical cords, but Owen’s decided to hang onto his for a bit longer. They’re doing really well, and so is mama Lilia.

🎉 Former foster 🎉 Mollie (formerly Millinocket, 2018) suns herself. Isn’t she gorgeous? (Thanks, Sharon!)

The kittens at the milk bar, which is clearly the ONLY place to be. Owen, bless his heart, is a little lost. But at least he has his emotional support umbilical cord to give him comfort!

Nope, nothin’ going on here! (Sebastian (left) and Benji.)

The kittens are obsessed with sniffing (permanent resident) Uncle Charlie’s foot, and Charlie is putting up with it pretty well. (Sorry about the LOUD washer in the background. It’s laundry day!)

Take a box, add some paper and the kittens just show up. Best toy ever! (Margarita & Sebastian)

Lilia’s all “Go to bed, innernets.”

I was giving Sebastian, Benji and Margarita their breakfast when (permanent resident) Uncle Charlie walked through the room, which startled them and gave them the floofy tails. (Didn’t deter them from eating their breakfast, though!)

Nolan and the ol’ razzle dazzle.

Closeups at the milk bar.

Margarita, Sebastian and Benji are playing on Khal’s playground and permanent residents Alice (in the chair), Charlie (front and center) and Khal (giving me the look of “Why are you allowing this to happen?”) are keeping an eye on them.

Tossing toys for the kittens. Turns out Benji is QUITE the little jumper. Who knew?

Sebastian, Benji and Margarita would like their Churu, please.

Good night innernets. (Patsy & Nolan at the milk bar, and Owen curled up next to Lilia’s paw.)

If you’ve wondered what Nolan’s belly looks like, here you go.

It’s Churu time!

Sebastian – who turned 10 weeks old yesterday – has officially weaned himself. I just so happened to make this video of what turned out to be his last bottle on Thursday. Friday and Saturday mornings he was completed uninterested in taking the bottle, so that’s that. No more bottle for him – he’s a big boy now!

🎉 Former fosters 🎉 Arlo (formerly Nigel) and Emmylou (Matilda) are doing well! Bethany reports that they’re settling in beautifully and playing with the other young kitties in the house. ❤️ (Thanks, Bethany!)

Lilia came out of the crate to eat, then climbed into my lap for a cuddle and some petting. She is such a sweet girl!

The milk bar patrons are happy. (From left: Patsy, Nolan, Owen.)

Good night innernets. (Benji)
