Sodapop and her kittens came to us on February 3, 2025 when her kittens were 1 day old. Sodapop had been found stray near a location where animals are regularly dumped. She was literally eating garbage, and the kind lady who found her said “I just couldn’t leave her there.” Sodapop followed her home and walked right into her house. They assumed that she was a male, since she’s orange and white, and just thought that “he” was getting bigger since there was regular food available. To their surprise, there were suddenly kittens! They contacted Forgotten Felines, and then came here.
Sodapop had her name when I got her. I decided I liked the name, and named her kittens after types of sodas. We’re calling the litter as a whole “the Pops.”
