Kittens’ date of birth: February 5, 2024.
Crumpet.
Crumpet – a calitabby – came to us, already quite pregnant, on January 24, 2024. She was trapped near a school in Huntsville where she had been hanging out. When we got her, I was pretty sure we had a ways to go before she had her kittens, and ultimately she gave birth to 5 healthy kittens in the early morning hours of February 5th.
Her kittens are Pumpernickel and Ciabatta (boys), and Babka, Crouton, and Pita (girls.) Pumpernickel and Crouton are brown tabby and white, and Ciabatta, Babka and Pita are black and white.

Pumpernickel and Crouton were adopted (together) on May 16, 2024. They are now residents of Colorado! (Crouton remains Crouton – and Pumpernickel is now Churro.)
Crumpet was adopted locally on May 18, 2024 and joins a sweet family with a kitty to play with, and people to give her lots of love. (Her name will remain Crumpet.)
Ciabatta and Babka were adopted (together) on May 25, 2024. They are now residents of Knoxville, TN. (Babka will be named Lucy or Lily, and Ciabatta will likely be Sam Elliot!)
Pita was adopted on June 22, 2024. She joins kitty siblings Emery and Ash in Louisville, KY. Her new name is Pika.
