The Cookie Girls – torbie Cinnaspin and snowshoe Linzer – joined us on December 17, 2022.
Cinnaspin
Linzer
Their date of birth is estimated at October 30, 2022. They came to us from another foster who wasn’t able to give them the one-on-one time they needed, and she was worried about their failure to gain weight. After a few days with us, they started packing on the ounces. They are named after types of cookies, so are collectively The Cookie Girls.
They’re not at all related – Linzer was a single turn-in to our local high-intake animal control, and Cinnaspin was the sole survivor of a litter that was attacked by stray dogs. She was found in an abandoned trailer by herself. They each needed a friend, so they were put together, and they’ve become the best of friends (though sometimes they are really tired of each others’ nonsense, which sounds about right for a couple of sisters.)
You can read about the Cookie Girls beginning here. There are links at the top and bottom of each entry; click on the one on the right to take you to the next entry.
You can see all the pictures taken of these girls here at Flickr, or scroll through them below.
Cinnaspin & Linzer were adopted (together!) on February 23, 2023, and will be residents of Colorado! They’re the only animals in their new home, and will be spoiled rotten. (They will keep their names!)
