Tina and her kittens Richie, Sydney and Jeff joined us on August 21st when the kittens were just a day old. They were at Huntsville Animal Services – brought there either as an owner drop-off or a stray turn-in – and Tina had given birth while there. I needed a family for Carmy to join, since his mother had died when he was a newborn, and Tina and her family needed a foster. I hoped that she would accept Carmy as her own kitten, but figured that even if she wanted nothing to do with him, I could bottle feed him and he could eventually join them. Fortunately, when I introduced Carmy, Tina accepted him immediately. They’ve been together for two weeks now, and I don’t think any of them have any memory that he wasn’t always there.
Sydney and Jeff were adopted (together) on November 29, 2024. They join a family that includes a young tortie girl who needs some friends. They’re local in the Huntsville, Alabama area.
Carmy and Richie were adopted (together) on January 15, 2025. They live in Lexington, Kentucky, and have joined a family that includes former fosters Meander (2024) and Mollie (formerly Millinocket, 2018), and big brother Angus.
Tina was adopted on January 19, 2025. She’s now a resident of St. Louis, Missouri, where she’s an only (spoiled!) kitty.
