Kennebec was our foster in the Summer of 2012, one of the litter of kittens known as The ‘Taters.
Mercury was from the same litter as Norland and Russet (who were also part of The Taters), but fostered by another Challenger’s House foster family.
Mercury and Kennebec were at Petsmart at the same time, and adopted together on August 19, 2012.
On January 21, 2013, because their owners were moving, Kennebec and Mercury were returned to Challenger’s House. They are both around 9 months old (she’s a few weeks older than he is).
They won’t be here for long – there’s room for them at Petsmart, but we want them to have a few days to relax before they leave again. They are both very sweet, cuddly cats. Mercury’s a bit skittish and nervous, but it didn’t take long for her to start asking for petting. Hopefully when they go to Petsmart, they’ll be adopted into their real forever home(s) and we won’t see them again!
Mercury was adopted on February 8, 2013.
Kennebec was adopted on February 28, 2013.
