Little Cal.
Barrett.
Sad Eyes.
Smitty.
Little Cal, Barrett, Smitty and Sad Eyes came to us on September 19, 2005 at the age of almost 12 weeks. They were in pretty rough shape (especially Sad Eyes), but after some love and attention they became healthy. Three of the litter went off to Petsmart on October 11th, but Barrett was limping and so we decided to keep him here until he was feeling better.
He never left. Instead, we adopted him and renamed him Tom Cullen, and he’s a Crooked Acres resident to this day (he’s exceptionally tolerant of the foster kittens who come and go, which led to his nickname, The Ambassador).
Sad Eyes was adopted and then returned the next day due to some intestinal issues. He came back to stay with us until he finished his medication.
He never left again, either. We adopted him and renamed him Sugarbutt.
You can read about these kittens beginning here (there are links at the bottom of each entry; click on the one on the right to take you to the next one). You can see all the pictures taken of this bunch over at Flickr, here.
