Michigoose said in yesterday’s comments that it would be neat to have a “random post” button, so I checked the WordPress plug-ins, clicked a few things, and there you go. Over there in the sidebar under the list o’ tags, is a blue random entry button! If I’d known it was going to be that easy, I’d have done it ages ago.

Did I mention that she’s just like a little cartoon with those white whiskers? Oh, so CUTE.
Leia, checking out the situation.
“::SNIK:: How did I DO that?!”
This is the age, apparently, when they try to climb the wall. That’s Aslan, by the way – and despite the way this picture makes it look, he does indeed have a full tail.
See? Their tails are so LONG now.
As far as I can tell, all of the kittens are using the litter boxes. There have been a couple of accidents, but they’re still little, so that’s to be expected. I would say that Charming is 100% on litter box usage, I’ve seen him in there plenty. The other four are still eating litter. In fact, on Saturday Charming and Buttercup were in a litter box together. She was busily eating litter, so imagine her surprise when she looked over at her brother to see him using the litter box as, y’know, a litter box. He finished his business and climbed out, and she sat there with the MOST amazed/appalled look on her face, sniffing what he’d left behind, clearly thinking “Why would he DO that?!” It was hilarious.

No little dragon babies yet!
“LOOK, lady, I’m trying to EAT here. You want to knock it off with the clickety-clack of that stupid camera?”
The problem with this foster room – previously Fred’s bedroom before we switched rooms around – is that the door not only doesn’t close all the way, but it also opens out into the hallway (instead of into the room like a normal door would.) We keep the door closed by using hooks on either side of the door, but there’s still a tiny bit of a gap. Miz Poo is the Gladys Kravitz of Crooked Acres and would probably sit there and peer through the gap, all creepy-like, which could freak out a protective mama. So Fred built a removable barrier across the inside of the doorway that does the job perfectly. Khaleesi occasionally stands up and peers over the barrier when we’re coming or going, but hasn’t tried to jump over it. YET.
