The kittens are continuing to do well. I spent a lot of time hanging out with them this weekend, and more than once I was pinned to the floor by six snoozing kittens. When a kitten falls asleep on you, it’s bad luck to wake them up. True story! All you can do is lay there and maybe snooze along with them.

And with Bill, you have to sing it (that is a song right – can’t get YouTube here today – wonder if they blocked it). I sing Copacabana to Lola all the time – she only likes it in song, not when I just randomly mention that she was a showgirl while talking. If you sing, it is ok – then they appreciate it.
It is a legitimate excuse to not do something around our house if one has a cat on her lap. It’s called Cat on Lap Syndrome, or COL for short. Because cats can defy gravity with their leaps and acrobatics, they also increase in weight as they fall asleep on your lap or chest. Especially if it is 6 in the morning. This is a real phenomenon.
