Edited to add: her name is now Pippa!!!!
This sweet puppy needs a name – and her foster parents need help with the funds for her vetting!
This little baby girl was found alone and terrified, out on the street in the wind and rain. Her bones are showing through her skin. She looks like an un-docked boxer. She’s approximately 9 weeks old and weighs a tiny 7 pounds.
Skin and bones.
Bloaty belly, caused by parasites.
She was seen by a vet yesterday and she is loaded with parasites – hookworms, roundworms and also Coccidiosis. She now has medication to fix her problems. She has a kind, understanding, loving home with 2 foster parents, so that she can get well and strong in hopes of finding her “forever” home in the near future. What she doesn’t have yet… is a name!
Here’s where we combine fundraising with fun! Do you want to name this little girl? You know you do! I mean, look at this sweet little thing.
Her foster Daddy wants to call her “Plate” – because she fits in the middle of a dinner plate.
SAVE THIS SWEET LITTLE GIRL FROM THAT TERRIBLE FATE! She needs YOU to come up with a name that fits her.
For a $5 donation, you will have your name entered into a drawing at a chance to name that puppy. Want two chances? Send $10! Want 20 chances? $100, please! (And so on. You can enter as many times as you’d like!)
Heaven will take entries until December 20th, and then she’ll draw the name of the lucky winner who will get to name that sweet little girl. Heaven’s Paypal address is heavenzbeads@yahoo.com (you don’t have to have a Paypal account to send money that way!) If you’d rather send money another way, drop Heaven an email, and y’all can work out the details.
Want to help out, but not interested in naming a puppy? Well, you can do that, too! Whatever you can spare is very much appreciated – she might be tiny right now, but as we all know she won’t stay tiny forever, and growing puppies can eat a LOT.
(Interested in adopting that puppy? She’s in the Huntsville, AL area, and you can email Heaven to discuss details! Or friend her on Facebook.)
Thank you, thank you, thank you for any help you can give. I suspect that little miss puppypants would kiss each and every one of you if she could!

I like the sound of “Merci” too….and; that’s THANK YOU in French π
Had no name idea, we have a terrible time naming our own until we get to know them, but I sent a little something to help. I do think the suggestion of Poppy is a cute one. : ) Thanks for all you do for these animals! Merry Christmas!
