(This next section is taken (with her permission) from Kelly’s blog. As I told Kelly, I am fighting an all-out war with Asian Lady beetles right now and couldn’t put two words together to tell you about Gail’s fosters!)
Clockwise from top left: Washburn, Jayne, Captain Malcolm Reynolds, and Shepard (with Uncle Bitters)
If you live in the New York/New Jersey area and are looking for a kitten to call your own, Gail has four fabulous babies to consider. They are three months old, full of personality, and ready to make your home their home.
Or your hoodie their home, or something like that.
For more information about these sweet babies, email me at mizrobyn (at) gmail (dot) com and I’ll pass it along to Gail.
**Uncle Bitters is very sweet, very handsome, and very unavailable, thank you very much π

Would you care for a nice warm Melfi to start your week off right?
Or perhaps an Adriana would suit you better.
And of course that perennial favorite, Silvio.
The Sopranos kittens are starting their week off with Livia’s form of Mama Love.
“No, Mama, I said I was clean! Stop trying to hold me down and clean me!”
“Kids these days. They don’t respect their parents at ALL.”
…like son. (That’s Tony. He just sat there with the end of his tongue sticking out for the longest time. You’d think it would get dry.)
Paulie Walnuts checked out the underside of the Ham-mick to make sure it was running correctly.
Then he took a snooze in the sun.
Tony enjoys his belly rubs quite a bit.
This scratcher is so popular with the kittens – someone’s always laying on it or sliding through the hole.

When Sheriff Mama looks at me like this, I want to confess EVERYTHING.

Very sorry to hear about your hate-me-do with the beetles. Hope it’s en route to resolution. But re your kitten-in-a-cup coffees: I think you’ll find we connoisseurs refer to the last one as “the Silvio.” That charismatic little man deserves his definite article. Today’s pics are wonderful — there are just too many goodies to call out, not least Livia and Tony and their tongues and Meadow squeezing her way through the scratcher.
Oh, good grief. The faces Sheriff Mama makes kill me dead. She is so hilarious I just want to pick her up and smooch the crap out of her. Does she like nubbins?
The pic of Livia with her tongue out reminded me of Khaleesi. It must be the spaced out look in her eyes as she contemplates those rambunctious toddlers and wonders “How did I let this happen to me?” I’m assuming if you’d heard word on the Mother of all Dragons you would have shared so I won’t ask, but I do miss her pretty, pretty face.
If by nubbins you mean love and snuggling, then yes. She is definitely a fan! π
I wish I’d hear updates on Khaleesi – I hope she’s happy as a clam in her home, and I also hope I do get an update!
Paulie Walnuts under the Ham-mick has me cracking up!
“Well dere’s ya prahblum rite dere! The flargenhooper’s gone and dripped anti-flobobulant onto the dinglewhumper. Dis ain’t gonna be cheap to fix, lady!”
LOL!
LOL.. I think that was my favorite photo too
This was my favorite picture – I laughed out loud (which made my cats give me a look), and laughed even louder at Matthew’s comment, since it was definitely in the same vein I was thinking!
I’m assuming the Asian lady beetles are what we in the Midwest call Corn beetles. They come out of the fields at harvest time, and drive one of my two kitties crazy. The beetles congregate on the ceiling of our bedroom, and Anna (Siamese/Torti mix) talks and chatters at them, but thankfully can’t reach them with our ten foot ceilings.
No, the Asian lady beetles look almost identical to ladybugs. But whereas ladybugs are not an invasive and annoying breed, the Asian lady beetles invade our home every year, looking for a place to overwinter. Which, y’know, I GET it. And if they just came in and snoozed in the walls and then left in the Spring, I’d be okay with that. But noooo, they come in, they wander all over the walls and windows, they die in droves, and if you accidentally step on or squish them, they stink. Oh, I hate them so much!
Also, I spotted Carmela trying to eat one this morning. I cannot imagine how awful they must taste, but she was certainly giving it the ol’ college try before she gave up and spit it out!
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! Loving Tony’s little tongue sticking out! Awwwww! Take care
x
The “Mama, I am CLEAN!” pictures are always my favorites! And I love Kara’s stinkeye. π
Kara’s a pro with the stinkeye. Of course, the funny thing is that she looks so serious and stern, but she is the sweetest, friendliest girl. (at least toward her humans – not so much toward the other cats, though she’s been known to get so excited that she and Jake rub heads at snack time!)
I love that picture of Meadow. She has grown into such a little beauty.
And she is SUPER sweet! π
So, whats up with the new outside cat that Fred mentioned on facebook? Do we get a meet and greet? π
He’s the cat I mentioned on the 29th (we’re calling him Potsie for the time being.) He isn’t really showing up with any regularity yet, but I’m sure he’ll be introduced eventually. π
I’m in the NY/NJ area. I SO wish I could take a kitten or 2 or 3 or 4…but I currently don’t have a living situation where I can take them. π
So your photos will have to fill all my kitten needs at the moment.
