If I were a better blogger, I’d totally have pictures of cats dressed up for Halloween for today’s post. But alas, I do not. I’ll do better next year*!
*No I won’t.
Before I took her off to the North Alabama Spay Neuter Clinic for her spa day, Livia had one last snack.
“These kitten wings are so fresh and tasty! Could use a little BBQ sauce for dipping, though.”
Lady bug on the window caught Silvio’s attention. I love how you can see the orange leaves out the window.
“Is it spa day yet?” Livia reflects upon how she is NOT GOING TO MISS having little kitten feet kicking her in the head for no apparent reason.
“Trying to sleep here, lady. Go ‘way.”
Oh, Meadow just kills me. She is the SWEETEST thing.
And Meadow’s face is killing me here, too. She’s so patient with her siblings.
Paulie Walnuts, having “captured” the feather end of a feather teaser (looks like a boa, doesn’t it?), lets Meadow know in no uncertain terms that he is NOT sharing.
“I SAID NO GO AWAY THIS IS MIIIIIIIIIIIINE!”
Adriana in the sun with her stuffed animal.
Silvio gots place to go, feathers to bite.
Tony tries the sweet-and-innocent face again. NO ONE BUYS IT, little man.

I know you remember Maggie, that sweet mama kitty from the summer of 2011. I got an email from Alex yesterday. He said:
As I have mentioned before, Maggie has a weird fascination with strong scents (e.g. Mint, bleach, shoes). This is one example of her rolling around with my nephew’s shoe. This is a common sight as she often attacks Sara and my running shoes after a workout.
Check out this crazy little Maggie face!

Suggie in the sun. “Who, me? Trying to figure out how to get that gate open? Why, I’d never!”

2012: Perfect Halloween kitty!
2011: This time of year, when you see a gathering of very interested looking kittens, it means a wasp has gotten inside.
2010: No entry.
2009: No entry.
2008: I suspect Lem.
2007: No entry.
2006: I donβt know why my mother felt that Maddy would make a good hat. Maddy did not agree.
2005: I think Miz Poo and Mister Boogers have more fun in the kitten room than the kittens do.
It is good to see Maggie (even it is not in her most glamorous moment). She looks nice and healthy!!!!
Maggie, even when so STONED, look pretty dignified to me π My kitties show similar affection to celery and carrot peels π
Because we have changed the time to winter mode in central Europe this week, I get my kitten fix at your blog an hour earlier now. So cool! I know many people think the time changing makes no sense, economically or otherwise, but for me, having my kitten fix an hour earlier is a perfect reason to change time. So there. π
I have to admit, I love the time change in the Fall because it gets light earlier, and I tend to wake up with the sun. I don’t love that it gets dark “earlier”, but I’m willing to make the trade off. π Our clocks get turned back this weekend!
So nice to see Maggie so happy. I wonder if she likes feet as much as the shoes?
Wellington’s mom came by Petsmart on Saturday. He is doing well and they kept his name. His companion is Albus (CHI name Birch).
She is not a big fan of feet unless they are under a blanket; in those cases, she loves to attack them.
I follow Wellington’s mom on Instagram and get to occasionally see pictures of him and Albus. He is clearly very loved – and very happy! π
Great to see beautiful Maggie and her antics!
Hmmm…it’s your and Fred’s anniversary, but Livia gets the spa day?
Happy Anniversary!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, Robyn and Fred!
(Webbthistle, thanks for the reminder!)
Thanks, GD! π
Well, to be fair – I’ve already been spayed! π
(And thanks!)
Lovely Livia and her babies!! And so good to see Maggie too! Happy halloween! Take care
x
Happy Anniversary! Loved seeing healthy, happy Maggie. Seems to have a wonderful home, and so glad they shared the video. I bet a happy home awaits Livia after her spay!
π Purrs to Livia….and great to see Maggie.
Happy Halloween, happy anniversary and happy spa day Livia!!
Aww Maggie loves the shoes!
So tonight I will take my crazy cat ladyness to a new level by dressing as a cougar. The look on my cats’ faces when I was trying my cat makeup on last night with the ears was hilarious!
I love it! π
I would love to see pics of this.
I want to add my wishes for a Happy Anniversary, a Happy Halloween (will you get trick or treaters tonight and if so how do the cats react?) and to Livia may she have a relaxing spa day where everything goes well.
I just love Silvio’s profile – absolutely perfect.
Thank you!
We always buy candy, but we’ve never had a single trick or treater since we’ve lived here. I suspect that all the cats would hide (and Jake would likely growl as he ran off), except for Miz Poo, who would howl at whoever was at the door and demand love from them. π
Happy anniversary!!
Hope Livia’s “spa day” goes well!
Happy Anniversary !!! Happy Halloween !!!! Hope all goes well with Miss Livia today !!!
Wow You have a super busy day today !!!
Does Fred spoil you rotten (or you spoil him) on your anniversary? Or is the spoiling a daily thing being that you can have a house full of kitties !!!
So great to see Maggie !! She is the Mama cat that got me started following the BEST BLOG EVER !!!!
We don’t really do anything special on the day of our anniversary, every day’s pretty full of spoiling in the form of kitteh love. π
Happy Anniversary!
Thanks! π
Happy Anniversary and many more, Robyn and Fred — may you have many, many more kittens and cats as well! And may they all be as healthy and beautiful as the Sopranos. Thanks, Alex R, for the delightful Maggie vid.
Thanks! π
You do know you don’t need to wait till next halloween to dress them up.. your viewers would love it if you did it on Arbor day, or Flag day or just some random Thursday.. π
It is awful nice to see Maggie so ‘healthy’ π
Happy Anniversary!
Oh, I do know – I had just planned to get some Halloween-type pictures for today and then ran out of time. There might be something a little special in the works for Saturday. π
Must.. share…

Aww, sweet, sweet Maggie. She’s obviously living a live of hardship. ;P
Livia is so lovely with her big ears and triangular face. I hope the “special trip” isn’t too traumatic for her and it’s for her own good. She’s had alitter of little monsters, been a good mommy and nursed them so now she retire to a life of leisure.
Look at Maggie.
It’s so wonderful to see so much love for Maggie. It makes me so grateful to have her in our lives. When Sara and I were looking for a second cat, we considered a kitten, but something drew me to Maggie. I looked at her and realized that she had grown up so fast that maybe it was time for her to be finally be young. Thanks to everyone who shows love for Maggie. More pictures and stories will continue.
Maggie does exactly what my parents cat Chloe does with my dad’s slippers…too funny!
