This week, I’m featuring a Royal each day and most days I’ll also feature a single Dragon, too. So if you don’t see your favorite Royal or Dragon, just wait. You’ll see ’em at some point!
Oh, Aslan. You silly, sweet boy.
He’s such a sweet, quiet boy. He enjoys snuggling with his siblings, but he mostly seems to prefer snoozing alone. Maybe their fidgeting annoys him.
I love that if you only see his face, you think he’s “just” a brown tabby. But then you see that fabulous ticked coat, and he’s quite the sight to behold.
He lets you know when he’s annoyed. The Ears of Annoyance come through loud and clear.
Then he looks away, all “Seriously. You = ANNOYING.”
Then he looks all sad and says “Why you annoy da baybee?”
“Cannot look at you. Your annoyingness hurts my eyes.”
I’d say he’s the quiet observer of the litter, but there are several quiet observers in this bunch. He’s also as apt to run around like his tail is on fire as sit and watch the goings-on of the other kittens.

Ember is little (she and Norbert trade the “smallest Dragon” title back and forth), but she’s feisty!
She is such a pretty wee girl.
Waking up Scorch to let him know who the boss of THIS bed is. (Hint: It’s Ember. Not Scorch. Not Ruth. EMBER.)
Messing with Ruth’s tail (which Ruth, as you can see, is just LOVING.)
Apparently Norbert’s ears are a delicacy.
They were both actually falling asleep right here. You can tell the lights are on but no one’s home.
“What did you put IN these ears? They’re so good!”

Stinkerbelle keeps an eye on those kittens. SOMEONE has to, after all.

You picked out my favourite two from these litters – you have excellent taste π
I’d say “Thank you,” but it mostly just worked out that way. π
Cutey-cute-CUTE!
omc…..too much cute (thunk)
Of all of the Royals, Aslan is the one who would’ve missed Kate. He seems like he’s doing ok though. Give him an extra hug for me though.
Wee Ember is so cute, she just kills me.
He’s definitely doing okay – the whole litter has become 1000% friendlier since she’s been gone, though. I mean, they were friendly enough when she was here, but now that she isn’t around, they tend to focus their snuggling and petting needs toward the humans. It’s been pretty awesome. π
Stinkerbell’s eyes – so incredibly DEEP BLUE! I love this girl π
oooohhhhh….they are….super pretty!
Aslan and Ember!!! Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! Adrobubble!! Take care
x
Aslan is annoyed because he heard you say someone might think he’s “just a brown tabby”. Just a brown tabby??? First of all, brown tabbies are AWESOME. And second of all, he is WAY more than a brown tabby. He is ASLAN… king of the jungle, king of the beasts, lord of all Narnia. Pffft. Just a brown tabby. No wonder he has annoyed ears.
And Ember? Holy Squee. That’s all I’ve got. She’s stinkin’ adorable.
Kelly you said if perfectly, Aslan is amazing in every way !!!!!!
“Just a brown tabby”, Robyn don’t let Corbie hear that !!!! He would really show ears of annoyance !!!
Dear Kelly, I wrote a comment on your blog, but it doesn’t show there (maybe because I used the “anonymous” option). In case it didn’t reach you, I just wanted to let you know that I’m sending tons of warm thoughts and prayers to you and Norm from Poland. I’ve been thinking of you and this incredibly strong-spirited, phenomenal black cat of yours all the time since I visited “Whiskers in the Window” this morning. I’ve never sent you any comments before, but I’m reading your blog religiously and today I just feel that it is the right time to step up from “lurker” to “commenter” status. I know that no matter what I say, you ARE going to have tough time now, but I also know that being aware of the fact that other people are with you in such tough moments does have a powerful healing power. So, here I am, thinking of you and sweet Norm. Joasia
That was so sweet Joasia!
Awwww… Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts for Norman. You are so very sweet and I’m glad we have you in our corner!
PS— I’m not sure what the commenting issue was for you. I’ll check it out and see if I can make it better.
PPS— Honestly, you guys. People have been making my eyes water all day!
I said “just” a brown tabby because I think it’s OBVIOUS that there’s no such thing as “just” a brown tabby, OBVIOUSLY. π
Aslan is just SO awesome looking and Ember is uber-cute. I do not know how you get anything done – I would be in their rooms 24/7/
My big question is – Why hasn’t Kate found her home yet? What is going on down in Alabama???
I know, isn’t it nuts? On the good side, another black adult was adopted over the weekend, so that’s good. Maybe this will be her weekend! I certainly would like to have her adopted before it’s time for the babies to go to Petsmart!
I agree with ibby, how do you get anything else besides kitty snuggling done? I only have one kitten, and she is the biggest distraction. I will be busily folding clothes, then she decides to roll up in a clean dish towel-being adorable, and there goes the laundry π
I love, love, love all these pictures-and must admit-Aslan is a huge favorite of mine.
I reward myself with kitten snuggling – “If I clean the kitchen, I can snuggle with the kittens for a good long time!” It doesn’t always work (often I opt for snuggling INSTEAD of cleaning), but sometimes it does. π
Ember is adorable. I would love to kiss he little head right between the ears.
Oh, Robyn, your “‘just’ a brown tabby” comment is such a hilarious smokescreen — we all know you have a great big thing for the brown tabbies! I can’t wait for tomorrow’s featured duo, along with, of course, a cameo from a permanent resident.
Well, you know. I SUPPOSE brown tabbies are okay. π
Aslan is the prettiest kitten I’ve ever seen. Good thing I live so far away, lol.
