Sodapop and the kittens now have the run of the entire upstairs during the day (which doubles the amount of space they have to run and play), and Sodapop nearly immediately re-discovered the bird feeder hanging outside the window. She spends a lot of time watching those birds!
A few people have recently asked if Poppi’s considered to be a calico, and what I’ve been told is that she’s a tortie point. I am so looking forward to seeing what she looks like as an adult! (I am still trying to get some good pictures to show the color coming in on her side and back.)

Fanta and Sundrop are tussling in the foster room, and then Moxie gets involved. (We will not be addressing all the dust and fur floating around in the air.)
In case you missed it, Sodapop and the kittens now have the run of the entire upstairs during the day. It took Moxie, Fanta and Sundrop no time at all to find this ham-mick and claim it as their own. Poppi (on the short scratcher to the left) is skeptical of the ham-mick.

Poppi is on the Churu desk, therefore: it’s Churu time! (At least she likes to think so.)
Former fosters! First up is Meander (who we were fostering this time last year), who is cuddled up to her One True Love, Angus (who wasn’t a foster, but we love him anyway!) And then there’s Pip (formerly Carmy), who always has something to say. He gets that from Tina, obviously! (Thanks, Sharon!)

I remembered to get the dangly mouse toy (it’s a toy on a bungee cord, which hangs from the doorway) out of the closet, and Sodapop and the kittens had a blast with it! They played with it for about 10 minutes before getting bored, so I put it away for another day.
(I got it on Amazon; search on “Syansju 2 Pack Hanging Door Bouncing Mouse Cat Toy” to find it – affiliate link for reference. I don’t recommend letting cats/kittens play with it unsupervised, just to be safe.)
A few people have asked whether Fanta might be deaf, because he tends to look all-white in his pictures, and he has those gorgeous blue eyes. (65-85% of all-white cats with blue eyes are deaf). He’s not all white, he’s a color point – you can see the orange coming in on his tail and ears, and when all is said and done he’ll look like a toasted marshmallow. He hears just fine (I just did the high-squeaky-kissy noise at him to check – which of course is a scientifically accepted method of testing – and he turned and gave me an annoyed look, so I’m declaring his hearing to be perfectly fine.)

I haven’t a clue where I got this yellow puffball toy, but Poppi is having a blast with it!
