Please note: you have ONE MORE DAY to get your mailing address to me if you want a holiday card. Canadians, your cards will be in the mail today. You won’t get them by Christmas (and probably not even by the end of the year – I imagine things are verrrry backed up right now), but you’ll get ’em eventually!
Time to let me know if you want a holiday card, with this year’s featured Crooked Acre permanent resident! Go here to Postable, enter your name and address, and your card will be on the way soon. I am happy to send cards to other countries, this is NOT limited to U.S. residents. If you have any problems, drop me an email and I’ll do my best to fix it. I’ll take names and addresses until December 20th.
If you’d like to send me a card as well (never ever required, but always appreciated – I don’t keep track of who does or doesn’t send a card, I promise!), send it to:
Robyn Anderson
1260 US HWY 72E, STE B #130
Athens, AL 35611 USA
(PS: If that link doesn’t work for you, or you prefer not to enter your info (I delete your name and address once I’ve downloaded it), you can email me instead.)

The kittens got a tank! (I have no idea who sent it to them – if it was you, please email me and let me know so I can thank you properly!)
Richie wasn’t sure what to think about it.
Carmy jumped in immediately. I think he likes it!
I am baffled by the fact that something made for kittens/cats has a human female wearing a bikini on the side of it… But I’ve been baffled by that before, and apparently Suck UK (affiliate link) hasn’t felt the need to change up the design. (I’m not really complaining, I just think it’s odd.)
Carmy checks out the view, while Richie checks out the construction of the tank. (It was really hard to put together – this was a “me” issue rather than the way the tank was made, I suspect – and I couldn’t get the corners to stay closed, so ultimately used packing tape to hold the corners together. Real tanks are probably held together by duct tape, so we’re in good company.)
“Hmm. Plenty of room in there for me!” says Richie.
“That’s right,” said Tina. “Keep ’em occupied!”

“Say, lady,” says Rocco. “You gonna open this window and let me in?” (Charlie, standing right behind me, made the answer to that “NOPE.”)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
Tina’s all “What the – ?!” I have no idea what she was looking at, but it certainly had her attention! (Tina is adoption pending and will go home in January. Carmy and Richie are adoption pending (together) and will go home in January.)
Just a Richie, hanging out in the Pusheen ball, having a little quiet time. Nothin’ to see here. (That ball he’s sitting in came in the quarterly Pusheen Cat Kit box.) (Richie is adoption pending (with Carmy) and they will go home in January.)

Poor starving kitties! I love that there’s such a difference between Richie and Carmy’s voices. Richie sounds JUST like his mama – his voice is huskier. Carmy’s is much more high-pitched.
Those socks aren’t gonna sort themselves, boys. Better get to work!

I got out the disc launcher, and Tina, Richie and Carmy still like chasing those discs! I thought Richie and then Tina were going to actually bring discs back to me, but nope. Not up for a game of fetch, I guess.
Good night innernets. (Carmy & Richie)

Have you ever heard of “whisker fatigue”? I’ve had cats my whole life (I’m 61) and only just recently heard that this was a thing. It certainly explains alot with my Mork
Shhh – you weren’t supposed to release the secret about our tanks. I hope the Pentagon folks don’t show up at your door!
