Oh, I want to see the rest of those slippers. The part that shows in the photo looks really cute.
Let’s see if that picture will embed…
Those are Snoozies slippers, and you can find them here. Since the Animal Rescue Site stopped carrying the slippers I like, I’ve switched to Snoozies or Lazy One slippers. I can’t do hard-bottomed slippers, they have to be soft and snuggly and have those non-skid things on the bottom. I’m extremely hard on my slippers – I wear them constantly, even in the summer, and after 3 – 4 months they have to be replaced. (I can only run them through the washer once; a second time will make the non-skid things on the bottom useless and I REALLY need the non-skid things.)
More than you wanted to know, I’m sure!

You’ve probably already mentioned it and probably even provided a link, but my 50ish year old memory might not be firing on all cylinders…do you have a link for the dangly mouse toy?
Sure, it’s right here – and apparently it’s a 2-pack, which means I must have another one kicking around in drawer somewhere!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Would you please provide the link again for the flapping bird you had on here awhile back?
I don’t remember a flapping bird toy – do you possibly mean the flapping fish toy? (If there was a flapping bird toy, someone remind me of it. It’s entirely possible that there was, but my mind is a blank!)
Hi, I started following your page in early 2023 so I’m fairly new and my apologies if you’ve answered this question many times already, but how do you decide/choose who becomes your permanent residents from all your fosters? Now that the majestic Newt has crossed the Rainbow bridge, I just wondered if you had a potential space in your “gang”?
In the past, it’s depended on how they get along with the other permanent residents. With Charlie being a bully (especially toward adult female cats) and Alice being scared of other cats, we won’t be adding another permanent resident.
Jeff is all “Lady, Uncle Charlie is in my box.”
“Unca Charlie, that’s my box.”
::checking to be sure everything is as it should be::
Our neighbor had his leaf blower going, and the boys didn’t care for the noise, so they hid in the Halloween house.
Sydney likes to sleep on this corner of the bed.
Where the sunshine eventually finds her.
Rocco, the freeloading cat who is not ours, has a heated bed in the garage and he likes it quite a bit.
Happy Thlurrrpsday! From left: Richie, Sydney, Carmy and Jeff.
Throw Back Thursday: From 2017, fosters Andouille and Beignet in slow motion. (Beignet is now Bella and Andouille is Andre, and I would guess that he probably doesn’t do that standing-up-bouncing move any more! They’re here on Facebook.)
In case you missed it, Tina is adoption pending and will go home in early January. In the meantime, she’s keeping an eye on the birds (though she’s looking away from the window because I was talking to her.) She is so PRETTY.
I’m tossing toys in the box – I guess I should say ATTEMPTING to toss toys in the box – for Tina and the kittens. They like this game and don’t mind that I don’t have very good aim.
Use puffy fabric paint, such as the Tulip brand paint, to add more grip to your slipper bottoms. Just draw on some cute designs, let it dry, and you’re good to go.
Thanks for the slipper links. You current pair is just so cute!
My favorite part about these blogs lately is that after reading the updates, I can click through to the 2023 blog for a little trip down memory lane with the magnolias! This time last year, they were the updates! They were so stinking little and cute, and the funniest part is their little personalities haven’t changed a bit! Love, Shelby, Murphy (Drum) & Chloe’s (Clairee) mom.
Lucky you! Would love to see a photo, could you please please send one to Robyn to share??
Follow me on IG @knit_n_purr_kara or just friend me on FB (Kara Focht) and follow along with their adventures! I share a TON!
I love Jeff’s expressive eyes in that Halloween house. Talk about being scared!
I HATE leaf blowers as much as I LOVE kittens! I don’t blame those babies for not appreciating the infernal racket of a leaf blower!
Sydney in the sun – glorious.
“With Charlie being a bully (especially toward adult female cats)…” So I guess this means that Tina will have to stay upstairs and not have the run of the house after the kittens are gone? :'(
