I love the varying expressions here – Richie’s all “What’s going on?”, Jeff’s “WHAT’S GOING ONNNN?!” and Sydney is all “Ugh. What’s going on?”
Line ’em up! Carmy, Jeff, Richie and Sydney.
Looks like nap time is about to commence.
Richie’s all “Psst! You got any Churu?”
Have you noticed that Sydney’s ear floof is turning white?
I dribbled a tiny bit of Churu on my pants, and Richie discovered it immediately.
Sleepy times for Richie and Sydney.
“What doin’, lady?” Carmy wonders.
As long as you’re comfy, Richie.
We had a visitor – NOT a potential adopter don’t get excited – yesterday, and I was very curious to see the reaction from Tina and the kittens. The kittens (who were in my room) had varying reactions – Carmy came over to sniff our visitor, and eventually his tail floofed (she’s got cats and I’m sure he could smell them on her) and he backed away a bit, but overall he was pretty confident and curious. Jeff’s hackles raised and he froze in place. Richie took one look and said “No thank you very much” and hid between the pillows on my bed. And I don’t actually know where Sydney was – I think she might have been snoozing under the bed and didn’t know anything was going on.
Tina (who was in the foster room) came right on over for a sniff, got some petting, a lot of sweet talk, and did great. She even let our visitor pick her up, though she was vocal about it, and when she was back on the floor her tail was poofed. But she forgave immediately, and kept standing up on her back legs to meet the visitor’s hand for more petting. It’s pretty much what I expected, but was still nice to know that she really is a social people-loving cat!

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Eyes on the feather teaser! Carmy & Richie in the front, and Sydney & Jeff in the back.

The kittens are on a field trip to the dining room today, and they seem to like it! (I’m trying to expand their horizons so they understand there’s a world beyond the foster room and the “school” room.)
Jeff likes this box, and the bite marks all the way around the opening crack me up. (Those bite marks were a group effort, they’re not all from Jeff!)

Tina goes for a visit to the school room (the kittens are downstairs in the dining room) and she wants y’all to know that she ain’t scared of that carrier one tiny bit. Also, she’s available for adoption; you can email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.

Good night innernets. (Richie)

Has Tina interacted with any of the permanent residents?
