Carmy and Jeff are thinking about how easy it would be to stroll right on out of the crate.
Richie says “Hmm. No thank you.”
Jeff says “I would come out there, lady, but my mama would yell at me.”
Carmy goes prancing across the crate.
Sydney says “Lady. I gots a foot!” And a cute one it is.
Tina says “Stop lookin’ at the kittens and gimme food, lady.”
(Just in case anyone is worried: Tina does NOT stop the kittens from leaving the crate. She does keep a very close eye on them, and may or may not scold them if they’re out, but if they want to come out of the crate, they do. They’re used to her scolding them!)

If you were wondering, a properly motivated 20 pound cat can, indeed, fit in the pie plate. (Charlie pie! My favorite!)
The motivation in this case was “Khal makes it look so comfy.” (Khal’s baleful look is cracking me up.)
Charlie didn’t stay long, though, and Khal was happy to reclaim his pie plate (while clearly blaming me.) (Khal pie! My favorite!)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
It’s a Tina pie (my favorite!) with a sparkleball and green bean garnish, and over there on the rug is some catnip I picked from my garden, and in which Tina is 0% interested.
Former foster update! It has been two years (yesterday) since gray and white Filly (formerly Brianna) and tortie Cricket (formerly Jenny) went from Petsmart to their wonderful forever home in Kentucky. Patti says they have many favorite things, and bird watching is probably #1. Trust me when I tell you: those girls are SO loved. ❤️
(Thanks Patti!)

Carmy goes wandering, under the close eye of Tina (who pretty much disapproves of this nonsense.)
Richie, Jeff and Sydney are 3 weeks old (as of yesterday) and Carmy is 25 days old! They look like actually tiny kittens now, instead of wobbly blobs of fur. You can see their weight chart right here.

I tell Tina she’s pretty, and she says “Yeah, tell me something I don’t already know.”
Tina’s all “The children are EATING, don’t go trying to lure them out of the crate with your promises of fun and excitement, lady.”
Good night innernets. (Richie)

You have a point. 🙂
Carmy looks like an evil mastermind as he’s washing his paw.
I think we know he’s going to be the ringleader of this bunch!
Filly and Cricket are living the life!
Thank you Patti!
I’m just catching up with yesterday’s post — I can’t believe Carmy wasn’t first out of the crate!
Yanno – Sydney is starting to look like she might have some floof going on after all. Early days yet, but –
Oh, I’ve said if any of them are going to be floofy, it’ll be Sydney!
