Bolt’s taking a break; business is slow!
Dillydally says “‘Scuse you, lady, we is nappin’.”
“I was NOT trying to break into your computer to order more Churu and toys, lady, but what was your PIN again? I’m sure you told me.” Cool story, Skip.
I don’t think I mentioned that the kittens have the run of the upstairs during the day, did I? Well, they do and of course one of the best places to hang out is on my bed (and also my desk.)
Someone recently passed this Mau cat tree along to me, and I could NOT have been more thrilled. I’ve wanted one for ages, but it’s hard to justify that cost; kittens are particularly rough on…. well, EVERYTHING. But for free? OH YES, PLEASE. It’s used, but except for a few barely frayed spots in the baskets, you can’t tell.
I (jokingly) told Fred “I’m going to cover it in plastic and not let the kittens use it, because you know they’re going to mess it up.”
“We resembles that accusation, lady.”
I keep waiting to find a permanent resident in it, but except for checking out the floor-level condo a few times, they’re not very interested in it yet.
Mosey got the extra helping of whiskers.

A close-up of Meander’s nose, if you’ve ever wanted to see it. She is SUCH a pretty girl.

The ridiculously magnificently floompy Khal.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Happy Toesday! Please admire the speckled beans of Bolt (top), Lollygag (bottom left) and the pink toes and toasted-marshmallow feet of Skitter (bottom right.)
Rocco chased a chipmunk across the front porch, and Meander (who would probably have liked to join in on the chase) is SHOOK.

Bolt has a purrrrr.
It’s a Paws-up-Y’all Skitter pie! (My favorite!)

It’s a sleepy, purry nap time.
Good night innernets. (Bolt & Dillydally)

Hmm – well, Skip DOES look a wee bit guilty in the ““I was NOT trying to break into your computer…” picture. Hee.
Also, sometimes when re-reading past year’s entries, I see a comment that I myself made and it always surprises me just a little bit. Like “oh look, HeidiK said blah, blah, blah.” Oh wait, that’s ME! I don’t know – it’s just funny to reread some of the older comments that I don’t really remember making; might as well have been someone else. I’m not explaining this well, but maybe others know what I mean? A little bit? 🙂
I run across comments I’ve made in other places (and don’t remember leaving) allll the time, and I always read them with interest as though it’s a comment left by someone I vaguely know and I want to see what they thought about (whatever). 🙂
Yes, exactly. So funny – glad we’re both like that, ha. Although actually I don’t leave many comments anywhere else… mostly here, as it happens! 😀
Oh my goodness, someone in the nap time with kittens video has a maaaaajor purrrrrr! Who is that, getting a purry closeup? I’m sure the answer would be obvious if I could see the screen, but, well. 😛
Hello, Meander’s nose. *smooch*
Speaking of greetings to fabulous kitties – hi, Khal! <3
There’s a little of Bolt and Dillydally at the beginning, but most of it is Skitter! That boy is a nonstop purr machine. 🙂
Awwww! <3 <3 <3
