I haven’t seen anyone actually playing with Mister Frog, but he travels around the room a lot, so SOMEONE must be. He makes a good pillow, according to Drum.
It’s a rough life isn’t it, Drum?
Couch potatoes. (From left: Shelby, Ouiser, Clairee & Drum)
Ouiser’s on alert ’cause she knows it’s entirely possible I’m going to pick her up and kiss her. (She also doesn’t look like she hates the idea.)
Ouiser and Shelby share the scratcher bed.
You might think Drum and Shelby are snuggling here…
But Shelby’s Open Mouth of Outrage says it ain’t so.

Newt loves that big ol’ soft bed, which we put there just for him (how often does a cat actually use a bed you put in a spot for them? This is a noteworthy event.)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
The girls (Clairee (back), Ouiser (left) and Shelby) are having a hard time getting going this morning.
Talking about Shelby’s stress/fever coat earlier this week reminded me of Mike from last year, another house panther who didn’t have a fever coat when we got him (that’s him on the left top, shortly after we got him), developed a really cool looking one (right) about 3 weeks later, and then lost it before he was adopted (lower left.)

The kittens are having fun with their new (to them) tunnel, they really like those table tennis balls (the bouncier, the better), and once again M’Lynn’s tail makes an excellent toy.
We have a gingerbread house (thank you Evelyn)! Drum approves, and is really looking forward to chomping on it.

The kittens figured out how to get behind the couch, so I pushed it away from the wall (so I could get back there to get them, if I needed to.) This incredible event was LIFE-CHANGING, apparently, and the kittens raced around like crazy things for a LONG time. (It doesn’t take much to get them excited!)
Good night innernets. (Drum & Mister Frog)
I’d clean that window, but I don’t wanna disturb M’Lynn. #ThatsMyStoryAndImStickinToIt
Ouiser is such a pretty, pretty girl.

Shelby wants to be startin’ something with whoever happens to be around.
Clairee’s all “You talkin’ to me?”

The kittens are still enjoying that tunnel… and Shelby and Ouiser have a tussle.
Good night innernets. (Shelby and Drum)
Clairee is just the cutest little slacker this morning.

The kittens are playing, as they do. A little skittering, a little chasing, a little bouncing up after table tennis balls – the usual. And then Shelby settles down for a nap and things get quiet.

Ouiser and Clairee face off, and it turns out Clairee’s not quite the sweet Southern belle she pretends to be! (But we knew that, right?)

Fun to see M’Lynn joining in the play sometimes!
I love how Shelby, Ouiser, and Drum are equally spaced in the Couch Potatoes picture
Received my Christmas card today, thank you Robyn. I just love the photo of the magnificent Khal. I am leaving it in full view on my desk because it just makes my smile!!
I’m so glad to hear that the holiday cards are reaching people – with the post office being so busy at this time of year, I always worry!
