Janeway’s all “Lay-dee, what are you doing NOW?”
Janeway and Kirk atop the scratcher, and Troi coming up to see what’s going on.
Kes in the sun, being adorable.
As it turns out, in case you were wondering, these kittens are excellent nap time companions. Also, if you missed my note in yesterday’s post (I added it later in the day) and on social media, there is now an application in on Kirk, which means that all the kittens are spoken for!

The neighbor’s cat, Trixie, who hangs out on our front porch all the time (along with her brother Rocco), tries to look innocent and like she was NOT hoping a bird would come along and fly into her mouth.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Janeway takes flight. (Yes, she stuck the landing.)
Line ’em UP! Left to right: Janeway, Kirk, Spock, Troi & Kes.
The news on the kittens is this: Forgotten Felines has an application for Kes and Troi (together) and another for Spock and Janeway (together.) Somehow there have been zero, zip, zilch inquiries about Kirk, so I guess his people are busy at the moment. They better hurry up! Edited to add: Never mind, there’s now an application for Kirk, so all kittens are spoken for.

Leapin’ kittens. All the Trekkling kittens except Kes looove to jump from the scratcher to the bed (or the scratcher to the other scratcher), and I love to go watch ’em go!
Janeway, Kes and Kirk have been watchin’ (and talking to) birds.
Good night innernets. (Kirk and Spock)

Yay kitties, all finding homes! I hope Kirk is going to a home with other kitties too! Will sure miss seeing these happy babies!!
I was wondering too if there was another kitty where Kirk will be going. I really hope so. He is such a social little boy!!
Mr. Spock, please cover one eye and read what you see.
“U…R…W…E…I…R…D…L…A…D…Y”
I’m amazed Kirk was the last to be picked. He has such a perfect little face.
Question, if it’s not too late for Friday: Has Alice continued to be more sociable now that there are fewer big brothers around, or has Dewey, Charlie, and/or Khal (not grampa Newt, surely!) filled Archie’s/Jakes’s shoes, so to speak? Or is she, unrelated to the boys, just becoming more Poo/Maxi/Kara-like (dare I say, Stinkerbellish?) and wishes she were an only?
Wow. That bed or chair or what’s-it Kirk is in — I haven’t seen it here before, can you please post the brand? I’ve been looking for a small off-the-floor bed so my cats can sleep in my office without fear of passing feet. Thanks!
That is the Furrytail BOSS Elevated Cat Bed (it was passed along to us by a local reader whose cats wouldn’t use it.)
I forget if you previously mentioned, how do you know Trixie and Rocco are related? (Not that I doubt your assessment, I’m just curious how one is able to tell these things!). Or are they “siblings” in the sense they belong to the same set of human parents?
