Janeway in the sun, being a cutie pie.
Kirk joined her on the scratcher and then Troi climbed up and did… whatever this is.
And Kes checking out the view from the rocket’s space window.
Spock on the ham-mick, all “You mind?”
Kirk on the tall scratcher in my room, and Janeway coming up to join.
A very blurry Kirk, leaping for my bed. (He made it, in case you were worried.)(And kudos to my phone for making sure that the bedside table is in sharp focus while Kirk is just a big ol’ blur.)
Troi checks out the view from the back window.
Flyin’ Troi. (And yes, she made it.)
Kirk and Kes on one scratcher, Spock on the other.
So the word on the kittens is this: Forgotten Felines has received an application for Kes and Troi (together) and another one for Spock and Janeway (together), and to everyone’s bafflement, not a single inquiry about Kirk. I guess his people are busy doing something else; I’m not worried, I know they’ll be along soon enough.
Edited to add: Application for Kirk received this morning!
(What if we – and by “we” I mean “y’all” – just go ahead and skip the “hE ShOuLd bEcOmE A PeRmAnEnT ReSiDeNt” for once?)

Khal poses with his favorite zucchini plant. (We grew zucchini and yellow squash in big pots this year. We got a few, but I wasn’t impressed with our crop and won’t do it again.)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Troi’s waiting for one of her siblings to enter the tunnel so she can smack at ’em as they go by.
It’s a self-cleaning Spock pie (my favorite!) with just a tiny blop of Churu on his nose.

Someone call the exterminator, we’ve got an awfully cute case of bedbugs (and they’re multiplying!)
Kirk’s all “Whatchoo doin’, lady?” Checking out your adorably floofy self, is what I’m doin’.

Monkeys on the bed!
Janeway’s taking a space walk to remove that antenna because it drives her CRAZY (Troi watches in approval.)

I thought Kirk would be one of the first to be adopted! I have adored his little face since you got them and would love to adopt him if circumstances were better. Is a cat that is 2-1/2 yrs old too old for Forgotten Felines to consider as a companion to one of their kittens? She’s still playful, but I think she would love a buddy as she gets bored very quickly. She was an outdoor, semi-feral until she was 1-1/2 yr old.
A playful 2 1/2 year old probably wouldn’t be too old to consider as a companion/friend!
I can’t believe you didn’t get a million zucchini! It seems that everyone does whether they want to or not. Sometimes you don’t even need to own a zucchini plant. 😉
I even left my car doors unlocked in case there was anyone trying to unload zucchini! 😉
Rufous came up on the banner when checked the blog today. Robyn, I just wanted to share with y’all that is miss him and Jake. I understand the aversion to more permanent residents since you have Trixie and Rocco to consider. 😉
If Charlie did not LOATHE Rocco (and by extension Trixie) so very very much, I’m sure they’d be living inside at this point!
“(What if we – and by “we” I mean “y’all” – just go ahead and skip the “hE ShOuLd bEcOmE A PeRmAnEnT ReSiDeNt” for once?)” Oh I laughed and laughed!
Thank you so much for allowing us all into your wonderful fostering world. And thank you for giving those babies such a great start in life.
We had a serious shortage of zucchini this year in Ohio!! Not a single extra squash from any of our friends (gave up growing at home here because of squash bugs big-time). It seems like it was a rough year for gardens in general.
AW, made me laugh about the permanent resident additions, Robyn!! but it’s really great when they get adoption inquiries and go straight home to their forever families. Then it’s always fun to see who’s in the foster room next, too.
