Kirk is all “WHAT IS THIS BRIGHT LIGHT?!”
But then he gets distracted by the milk bar, and forgets what he was doing.
He wanders into a black hole (snoopervised by Troi).
“I think this giant frog brings the bright light with him. See, I killed him dead and there’s no bright light. Mystery solved!”
Kes in my lap, giving me the look of “How dare you stop petting me.”
Kes gives the litter a nibble. (Eating litter is something normal for kittens when they’re first using the litter box. Like human babies, everything goes into the mouth. Thus the reason I use non-clumping litter in the litter boxes until they’re 6 or 7 weeks old. I don’t think they actually consume much litter – they mostly get pieces of litter in their mouths, then walk around p’tui-ing pieces of litter everywhere.)
“No, don’t go in there, that’s MY litter box!”
It did not occur to me that a kitten could climb that air purifier, but Troi proved that I know nothin’. (After I saw this nonsense, I moved it up high where she can’t get to it.)
Janeway’s all “Watchin’ YOU, lady.”

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Somebody’s got a case of the MONDAYS. Buck up, Kirk, it’ll get better!
“Hey, Spock.”
“Yeah, Kirk?”
“Let’s start wildly sniffing this blanket and see how long it takes the lady to come over and try to figure out why we’re sniffing it.”
“Okay!”
About 30 seconds (and it hadn’t been peed on, there was no food on the blanket, no bugs, no nothin’. Just a blanket bein’ a blanket.)

It was a sunny morning in the kitten room, there are kittens scattered everywhere, and Mama’s keeping an eye on them all.
It’s time for our favorite song! 🎶Nobody pees alooone, nobody pees alone! Hang up the phone, give the dog a bone, nobody pees alone! NOOOOBODYYYY PEEEES ALOOOONE ::jazz hands:: 🎶

I’ve got Spock in my lap, rolling around and being adorable. What more could you ask for?
Were you hoping to see the three calico/torties from above? Well, your prayers have been answered, here ya go. That’s Janeway on the left, Kes in the middle, and Troi on the (lower) right.
Good night innernets. (Janeway & Kes)

Misread Spock as “Speck” and it got me thinking that bacon-y names would be a great theme for a litter. Bacon Pancetta Prosciutto Serrano Lardon and Speck! There are probably even more in case of huge litters
Hi Robyn and kitten lovers, It’s been a while since I’ve posted and now I know why – just TOO MUCH CUTENESS! OMG, and your comments are absolutely hysterical, i literally laugh out loud and my husband thinks I’m nuts lol. If you ever have any time (I can’t imagine that you would though), how about writing a book using kitten photos accompanied by your comments? Just kidding – I still think doing stand up would be perfect. Or, a love-and-hisses podcast? Just saying….
Thank you for all of your hard work and sharing these adorable Star Trek kittens with us!
I swear, every third time I type his name, I type it as “Speck”!
It seems that these kitties have gotten their land legs under them pretty quickly.
