The whole Charlie series could also be called “Through the Looking Glass” because you have a series of cute vignettes going on in the cat-shaped mirror with Plovetater!
Those mirrors come in so handy, especially when kittens are on the other side of the room doing their own thing. It’s like, you get to see the WHOLE story!

Also, is Rufous braver than the others or does it just take the one shared brain cell a long time to register stranger danger? He looked so cute watching Charlie eat the kitten food.
I think it just doesn’t occur to Rufous that anyone might not want to be the best of friends with him. Whereas the girls were all “DANGER DANGER DANGER”, Rufous was all “Ooh, a new friend!”

How do you tell Wren and Starling apart? They always look so similar to me!
Wren’s bigger and longer, has white paws, and dashes of orange here and there. It’s a lot more obvious in person than in pictures! I’ll see if I can’t get a good picture of the two of them side by side.

Wren approves of the Fancy Sofa.
Tater in the sun. I think she’s going to have gorgeous green eyes.
I had to pull the cat tree away from the window so I could get into the closet, and naturally moving the cat tree made it the most amazing thing ever. Rufous and Wren had to check it out IMMEDIATELY.
When I pushed the tree back in front of the window, Wren had to check and see if the view had changed.
But then opts to rest instead.

It’s a Newtles pie! (My favorite!)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Wren-Rufous pie for breakfast! Perfect! (My favorite!)
In case you wondered, Wren is a snugglebug and doesn’t mind being held on her back like a baby. She IS da baybee, after all.

Wren’s feelin’ kneady.
Tater and Starling in the crate. (The minute I said (last week) that the kittens don’t hang out in the crate any more, they started hanging out in it ALL the time, of course.)

Watching Wren chase her tail, saving Tater from mean ol’ Rufous… and then along come Rufous and Starling.

Since wren has some orange spots, would that make her a torbie? *thinking emoji*
Yep, she’s a torbie!
