Ivy came to us on December 9, 2021. We think she belonged to people who moved, and luckily for her she showed up on someone’s doorstep who was able to get her to Forgotten Felines. The lady who brought her to us named her Ivy because she’s so super friendly and desperate for attention, and I like that name. Her kittens (assuming there are kittens) will be given the names of invasive plant species (Kudzu, Wisteria, Honeysuckle), and I’m going to call them the Invaders.
We have zero clue when she is due (in fact, when I first got her, I wasn’t entirely sure she was pregnant. At this time, a week later, I’m pretty sure she is). She’s a super sweet, friendly girl who’s just chilling out in the foster room for now, and who will give us those kittens when she’s darn good and ready.
Update December 22, 2021: She’s not pregnant.
Ivy was adopted on January 21, 2022, and is joining former Love & Hisses fosters d’Artagnan and Porthos is her new home near Louisville, Kentucky!
