Speaking of Khal, he and Charlie were 100% playing yesterday. They were jumping at each other, chasing each other back and forth, playing slappy paws. It was seriously cute – and nice to see – and perhaps one day I’ll even manage to get video of that while it’s happening. So at this point Charlie has been spotted playing with Jake, Archie, and now Khal. Fred has also taken him outside (wearing a halter and leash) in the backyard. (We have a cat fence, but Charlie is still small enough that I would worry about him being able to fit through the slats of the fence. Luckily he’s not SUPER interested in going outside yet, and hopefully by the time he figures out the cat doors to the screened porch and then outside, he’ll be too big to fit through the slats. If not, we’ll close the cat doors to the back yard until he gets bigger.)

When you post a pic of Khal after all those adorable kittens, I’m like a star-struck idiot: I forget all my previous thoughts and immediately go into adoration mode. He’s such a gorgeous distraction!
I love that picture of Davy Crockett! He’s an absolutely adorable little tuxedo boy!
I’ll try to make a long story short: I have always had multiple cats, in Feb. of 2019 I found myself down to just one 13 year old. She had always been very loving and playful with her older “brothers”. In September 2019 I adopted a new kitten. Older kitty was not as accepting as I expected, but not miserable or too hateful toward him. I recently purchased some fabric tunnels; one is three straight tunnels connected by a middle section, the other is a round “doughnut”-like tunnel with two openings and a bed in the middle.
These things have made a huge difference in their playing! They are REALLY enjoying chasing each other in and out of them, playing slappy paws with one in and one out.
I guess the difference is that he can’t “tackle” her and get too rough, she is protected by the tunnel. I am just thrilled to see them doing so much better together. Now if they would just snuggle more…….
Oh Lordy does Eclair ever need a snuggle…
