I got the BEST news last night! Our former foster Wellington (7 years old) and our former foster Charlotte (3 years old), who were both returned (separately) over a year and a half ago, were adopted yesterday – TOGETHER!
This is absolutely wonderful news, and we couldn’t be happier for those sweet kitties!!!

Gabrielle and Fleur watchin’ birds.
Dream come true: with a helping hand, Gabrielle has touched the ceiling fan pull.
Gabrielle, Henri and Fleur watching the ceiling fan pull swing back and forth.
Josephine knows she can’t reach that thing; she’s not even going to try.
Henri (left) was sound asleep. So was Fleur, ’til she heard me walk over to take her picture. How adorable are they? Please also admire Josephine’s beautiful spots.
Gabrielle always looks so serious, but I assure you: she is one snuggly little muffin.

Fred was sitting in his recliner, and Henri was atop the cat tree. Fred could see that Henri was considering joining him, but he didn’t actually make a move to do so until he saw Khal jump up into Fred’s lap.
Henri flopped down next to Khal and presented his head for licking; Khal obviously obeyed.

Dear sweet Khal. #formerlyferal #fromferaltofamily
O-M-G! Two pics of Khal snuggling in one week! He is so adorable (Henri, too). Is hell about to freeze over? In NY, you bet! 🙂
So happy for Wellington and Charlotte! I just visited the Challenger House site yesterday to see how they were doing. So many deserving kitties live there.
That is such wonderful news about the adoptions. I am so happy those to finally have their forever home.
I so hope that they’re happy and snug and smug.
The news about Wellington and Charlotte was definitely heart-warming and a good way to start the day.
I loved the picture of Gabrielle and the fan pull. Let’s hear it for fulfilling kitty dreams!
Robyn, I hope that you, Fred, and all the kitties (permanent and otherwise) have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you for continuing your amazing fostering efforts and for letting us share in them.
Oh Khal… *swoon* What a sweetheart! Who knew he had a sweet spot for the kittens?!
That is great news about Charlotte and Wellington!!!
What a treasure trove today! Kitties adopted together, a dream fulfilled, and Khal snuggling a foster. It can’t get much better than that!
Bless the new pawrents of Charlotte and Wellington for looking beyond the need for ongoing medical treatment and adopting these two furry love machines!
Oh my goodness! So happy for Wellington and Charlotte. I hope we get lots of happy updates. They were breaking my heart, I wanted to come get them myself, it just wasn’t possible.
Kahl! A kitten head licker! I’m in shock! Is anyone else in shock? I am, seriously I am! But I love it!
I love that top picture of JoJo. All these kittens seem to have such large, beautiful golden eyes.
So happy for Wellington and Charlotte! If Khal likes Henri so much, maybe you could make him a permanent resident.
What wonderful news about Wellington and Charlotte! I, too, looked at them over on the sidebar and felt sad that it was taking so long for their people to find them. How nice that they went home together!! Happy forever home little ones 🙂
