Otis likes to show off his bits ‘n bobbles.
Moop adores toys with feathers attached.
Don’t you try to touch his toy or he’ll wrap it up tight and growl.
(Speaking of toys – when I scrub down the kitten room every 3 days, I toss all their toys into a lingerie bag and run the whole thing through the washer with bleach on hot water, and all the toys have held up amazingly well. The only toy that didn’t make it through was a spring toy – like this – which melted and lost its shape. Luckily, we’ve got more – that is Calais’s favorite toy of all time.)
“Can’t believe you killed my toy, lady. You’ve got some nerve.”
Bethel is the living embodiment of the saying “If you leap, the net will appear.” That girl will LEAP at me without ever considering that I might not catch her. I guess that means she’s very trusting.
“We is having quiet time, lady. You go ‘way.”
Buxton is like “Seriously?” and Eliot is like “O Lord, why is this lady and her camera always following me around?”
Eliot’s got some fabulous whiskers.
“HEY! LADY! GET THAT MOOP OFF YER SHOULDER AND PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEE!”
Arundel is busy refereeing this tussle between Otis and Eliot and would prefer not to be disturbed, if y’don’t mind.
Dexter sitting around with his tongue sticking out because why not?
I’m pretty sure that Millie – voted Best Biscuit Maker in the foster room by all 8 of her siblings – needs a kiss.

We have now reached the point where, if I’m not in the living room when Khal thinks it’s time to watch TV, he’ll come find me and meow bossily at me.

I love that Khal organises you for TV watching!! Lettuce comes to get me and tells me off loudly if I am not cooking dinner at dinner time, which is rather adorable.
Mercy….every one of those babies are just perfect. I want them all…along with Kahl!!!
My brother’s cat will let him know when it’s time for bed. 🙂
Bethel is a very striking kitten! I never noticed before how pretty she is!
Guess we know who the bay-bee is
At the shelter where I volunteer, we clean the spring toys (and all non-fabric toys) by either putting them in a bucket of diluted Rescue or by washing them in the dishwasher. Neither method has melted the springs.
These kittens are at that “perfect kitten” stage! I want to snuggle them all! How much longer do they need to get baths?
And Khal! Seems like he’s integrated into the family pretty well!
The picture of Bethel and Otis makes Bethel look so big….or Otis look so small!
It’s also totally cute how Bethel’s tail looks like a protective “arm” around Otis.
Khal is smart kitty. When he’s ready to watch TV and cuddle, he informs you. My Gus does that when it’s time for bed. First, he hunts and brings me his kill. That’s usually a sock. Then he tells me in no uncertain terms that it’s time for bed.
Don’t you think Kennyborkbork is going to grow up to look just as beautiful as Khal?
I think you and Fred should adopt Moop. He would look fantastic with Khal.
The spring toy is Bella’s favorite. To be exact, the pink spring toy is her favorite. I will try to give her other springs when she has sent her pink one under something, but she is not satisfied until she has her pink spring.
All the little munchkins are adorable. Your permanent residents are adorable too.
Millie is a kneady-pawed teeny tortie snugglebug who needs a kiss? Okay – *smooch!* I don’t know what it is, but the little tortie in a given litter is likely to wrap me around her (most often her, anyway) tiny paw in no time flat. See both Molina and Vera at 50 Kittens, Wylla at the IBKC, and several RL torties and torbies.
Kenny Moop Mew Squeakle Bork is going to be a purring shoulder parrotkitty for his whole life, I just bet. XD Robyn, I blame/credit you for the compound word ‘parrotkitten’. 🙂
Bethel really is a dear, isn’t she? Trusting little greyby. <3 She's a sneak attack heart-stealer!
And Khal… I swear I keep circling back to squeeing over that cat, and I'm so very not meaning to be a weirdo about it. But my gosh! From a skittery skidaddler of a stray furious at confinement to a television-watching cuddler of a sweet shy boy. What a marvelous transformation! Stranger-averse and wary he may be (and it's charming), but feral he is NOT. <3 If this is a flippingly weird comparison, tell me so and I'll zip it, but where Katia is a Stinkerbelle or an Emmy, Khal is a Kristi.
Beautiful photo of Millie! And Colby is OBSESSED with those spring toys too! I find them in my bed after work sometimes.
