Alice may be all grown up, but she still plays like a kitten!
Molly stomps off ’cause there’s not enough room for her, while Charlie sniffs out the situation.
“Let me just shred this couch a little more…”
Note that Charlie and Molly are pretty much the same size now!
“Here, since she’s got the couch, let me take care of the chair!” (Charlie and Patty are completely appalled.)
Charlie and Patty, keeping the electric blanket warm.
Amazon box with a long piece of brown paper used as padding means lots of paper for the kittens to play with! (And a big mess in the front room.)
Charlie and Patty snoozing on the couch – and then Corbie comes up for a visit.
Everett in one of the rare moments when he’s not racing around like a wild thing.
A Peppers video for you of them jumping around like little wild things, chasing the feather teaser. They crack me up, the way they go sailing through the air!
…sure does love his Daddy, yo.

Hey Robyn! How big is Joe Bob? My male cat, Logan, looks very similar (though he has more grey and less white) and I’m thinking they would be a match made in heaven. 😀 Logan’s 18lbs of tall, long Tom.
The couch…the chair…and it looks like daddy’s shirt, too! Ha!
You think Charlie and Patty are big…until Corbie walks in.
The video was fabulous!!!
LOLOL, I was going to say the same thing about the couch, the chair, and the shirt. The arms of my couch are covered stylishly in throws to hide the devastation and destruction, and the stuffing.
I love Molly’s stretchy-scratch of the couch. I think the kittehs do that to get maximum drag. Dorothy is super guilty of this.
The Peppers are like little Mexican jumping beans.
O boxes! I recently bought a new crock pot and put out the box. Luanne immediately jumped in it. Never mind that she has a set of three boxes stacked into each other that she sits in (I just find her sitting in there). So now she sits in the crock pot box AND the three boxes. What IS it about boxes??? It’s like children with pots and pans.
Everett is just a darling. Have to say that. Oh, I don’t know if you noticed, but Corbie’s kind of beautiful. Just saying.
Patty’s little face makes me want to scoop her up and carry her everywhere with me! GAH! It kills me dead!
Also, I love how in the video, they are all “PAWS UP SHARP SHARP SMACK SMACK” but also somehow jumping on each other and colliding and not even making a peep when they get a facefull of sibling or one of them lands on the other heh
Loved the video — and all the scratching, and Charlie and Patty, and Joe Bob, a pre-Friday glimpse of Il Corbeone, and and and… Most of all, though, I’m happy you and the recliner have parted ways.
You and me both – that thing was driving me nuts! 🙂
You know in photos 4 & 5, is that not Patty Peppers? Are you sure? I mean you’re just raising them, how can you be sure..?
I love the kittens smacking into each other, landing on each other, and is that Lucy whose head you trying to make spin off? Cheeky Robyn!
Smilin’ Joe, handome man – scritches for you, buddy.
Dear Luanne, please update Dorothy’s page. Thank you.
Yes, sorry, I know I’ve een lax in getting something else up on Dorothy’s page. A very busy life calls. I do have some stuff to put up, though.
Life? You have a life? Well, that explains it then…
Oh Robyn, where did you send poor Dorfy..?
Luanne, I know. I’m thinking of starting a cat blog soon-ish and dread to think how slack I’ll be. Dorfy is such a special little girl with her tales of Alabama nights waiting to be told. The incredible Dorfy has such great adventures. 🙂
Oh my goodness, Charlie washing his paw is the cutest thing I’ve seen today. (And I’ve seen a lot of cute already.) Love the video!
The Jumpin Peppers are amazing. They not only get height, they get great distance, almost like they have a big tailwind.
Too funny!
That video just made my day. I love the acrobatics and the mid-air collisions.
I have a question for you. I have very little experience with kittens and I just had one show up on my doorstep. What method do you use to determine their approximate age? I’ve heard you can go by the teeth and sometimes by weight. Any ideas?
The shelter manager has always told me that aging them by teeth is more reliable than going by weight (because they could be underweight or big/ small for their size, etc, but their teeth pretty much go by the book). I go by the chart on this page:
http://www.cat-world.com.au/how-to-determine-the-age-of-a-kitten (you have to scroll down a little)
I hope that helps! 🙂
