Took the Missions out of the crate to switch out the bedding, piled them in the pie plate, then stopped to take a picture before I put them back.
Mercury decided I was taking too long, and moved one herself. I learned my lesson and moved the other four back immediately, but did catch this picture of Mercury with a kitten. I can count the number of times I’ve seen one of my foster mamas move a kitten on one hand, mostly because I try not to annoy the mamas too much.
Aurora and Telstar, waiting to be moved.
I just love to see happy, nursing babies.
Phoenix surrounded by brown tabby stripes.
Hubble as the pillow (with his teeny tongue sticking out a bit) and Stardust on top.
“Okay, lady, that’s enough. You go away now.”

Video! Kittens at the milk bar except for poor fluff-headed Phoenix, who is all “Pardon me, can you tell me the way to the milk bar?” (She did eventually make it, don’t worry!)

Phoenix looks like a chipmunk in that picture! 🙂
I love the way that kittens, almost as soon as they’re born, figure out that their siblings make the best pillows.
