Sugarbutt must be running around the top of the cabinets. He likes to get all wild and do that and make me worry that the cabinets are going to come crashing down.
I count 7 cats in this picture, including two Bookworms. Oh, they make me despair. They don’t even act guilty when I catch them out back, anymore, and when I shoo them inside, they look offended. BRATS.
Rhyme, at the very back of the back yard, watching the chickens.
“Madame, I take exception to your tone. I am merely laying here chewing on this stick. If you have a problem with that, please take it up with the proper authorities.”

Dodger. I have mentioned that he loves a good sun puddle, haven’t I?
Sweet little Dodger. Yesterday, Martin jumped on him and bit his neck, and instead of just laying there and taking it like he usually does, Dodger bit back. I was egging him on from the sidelines – “Kick his butt, Dodger! Get him!”
I have no idea what’s up with the lack of Melodie pictures lately. I need to get some more shots of her because she is SUCH the gorgeous monkey.

Stinkerbelle, keeping watch over her Tommy while he sleeps. I have perhaps mentioned that she loves Tommy?

Stinkerbelle is so pretty – she was a foster of yours, right? Did you keep her because she was so attached to Tommy?
Every time I look at Martin now, I think Possum?
Love the photo of Dodger in a box helpfully labeled, “Kitten”!
@karen_dawn: Yes, she was a foster. She actually went to the adoption center and was there for one day. I went in to clean and scoop the next morning, and it looked like she’d been trying to dig her way out of the cage all night long. I made the mistake of telling Fred, and that was it – he stopped on his way home from work and brought her home with him. Seeing how attached she is to Tommy, I have to say that I think it was a good decision on his part. π
@kar: he totally looks like a baby possum, doesn’t he?
@Doodle Bean: How on earth would you ever know what he was, otherwise? π
Oh they are great pictures today – they are all so cute. And those naughty Bookworms – it is good they are cute!
And can I tell you how glad I am that you cheered on Dodger – I do that with Virgil – because he is the smallest I feel bad when he is obviously loosing so I cheer him on (unless I need to break it up, which is very rare). Barney is so much bigger (even though he is a year younger) that it just seems like Virgil needs some cheers sometimes!
I think you’ll find that by “the proper authorities”, Reacher means himself! Cats rule – so they tell me, anyway.
Awwww the Bookworms are lovely – look at them all together with the Permanent Residents – how adorable!! π Awww sweet Rhyme – butter wouldn;t melt in his mouth! π
Martin and Dodger – you pair of cuties!!
Stinkerbelle loves Tommy – lucky Tommy!
take care
