Los Gatitos (Spanish for “the kittens”) came to us on July 15th. A few days before, the mother and sister of another Challenger’s House foster mother had been out for a walk and saw a man in a van toss these kittens out by the side of the road. After a trip to the vet for testing and spay/neuter, they came home with me. Their date of birth was estimated to be May 5th, Cinco de Mayo, thus the Spanish-flavored names.
Sofia was adopted straight from here by a couple who fell in love with her gorgeous eyes (one blue, one green) and sweet, cuddly ways. She went home with them on July 20th. On July 23rd, Pancho, Evita, and Hermano went to the Petsmart adoption center.
Though they were only here for a week, their personalities really came out, and I’m sure it will be no time before these sweet, friendly (Evita’s a bit skittish) babies are adopted.
