Privet and the Ears of Floofnoyance.
Grabbing the edge of the shelf so she doesn’t slap me silly.
Juniper, keeping an eye on things.
Hemlock’s all “Coming through!”
They certainly do like that teddy bear bed.
Hemlock and Juniper snuggling up for a nap.

Juniper has super shiny fur! Hemlock is growing quickly! I never noticed that cool head stripe his has going on (See picture: Keeping an eye on Uncle Stefan.)
Also, I got the “Hugs From Rickles” banner. Made my day. Love it!
I just noticed that head stripe, too! I’ve been paying so much attention to his cute little monocle that I didn’t really look the rest of him. Now we need a full back shot of Charlie Butters!
I’ll see what I can do. 🙂
He sorta looks like he’s been split into a double-cat.
Love the Ears of Floofnoyance! Great new term. I wonder if it is possible to have a cat that is incapable of being annoyed? Our Hamilton is the happiest cat I have ever had. I do not think he knows what being annoyed means. Does Privet had lighter fur on her belly. It sure looks like it in the picture where she is lying on her back. Such a pretty girl.
It is a bit lighter on her tummy – she’s got a smoky undercoat, and that makes it look even lighter than it is, especially when it’s been ruffled. 🙂
we don’t think that is Privet snuggling with Hemlock on the blanket there lady…. 🙂
I was thinking the same thing !!!!
Me too, there’s just not enough floof.
Oops! I hate when I do that (it’s fixed now)!
Do you think Privet would let me squoosh that wonderfully floofy belly of hers?
She certainly would. She might give you the Ears of Annoyance, but she purrs the entire time, so she’s not fooling anyone!
Oh, I LOVE that!
Alright, question – I read the 2013 post and wondered – how do you get the kittens to enjoy being held on their backs? None of the kittens I’ve raised from ‘scratch’ seem to like that, but they always like it if I get them at five or six weeks old.
You know, we don’t have any inside knowledge – we just flip ’em over onto their backs. They might not like at first, but once they get used to it, they don’t seem to mind.
I just flip mine over and start kissing their bellies. Also, I lay them on their backs on my thighs and talk sweet and stroke them. They tend to fall asleep. Mine are 16, 7,6,3, and 4 months. I can still pet and kiss all their bellies.
I think that I must vet whoever adopts Privet. She is so darn cute that she needs to have people who truly appreciate her Floompiness !!!
Living on the west coast and having two very obnoxious cat precludes me from stepping up. One more big disappointment in my life !
I would love that teddy bear bed! It’s got teddy bears, kittens AND that rockin’ baby animal blankie.
What more could you ask for?
