Gavin’s a wee complainer, and I remembered to bring the camera into the kitten room with me and get his complaints on tape (Garrity jumped in there to share HIS complaints, too, since I was documenting complaints). Gavin’s husky little howl just cracks me up.

Please ignore the fact that that door behind the kittens desperately needs to be stripped and repainted. I’ll get to it some day. Maybe. If that room is ever empty, which I hope it never is!

Here’s a purring kitten video for you – Rhyme spends the majority of his life purring so loudly you can hear him from three rooms away. So, for that matter, does Reacher.

Yesterday, I couldn’t find Corbett anywhere. Since we’ve been having an issue with him going outside, I worried that he’d gotten into the back yard, climbed the fence, and was headed toward the very busy road. I didn’t see him anywhere outside, and I called and called for him. As it turned out, he’d climbed behind my monitor, stretched out, and gone to sleep.

  1. Oh my goodness. Gavin and Garrity’s little squeals!!! I found myslef squealing along too! LOL!! Awwwwww!!! They’re gorgeous!

    And I love their pics – especially bossy cute Sheila over poor Franco!!

    That is one loud purring from lovely Rhyme! And glad you found Corbett – even if it’s the oddest of places! 🙂

  3. Oh they are just so cute! And seriously doesn’t it make you CRAZY when you can’t find them, and then you find out that the REASON you can’t find them is that they were just to darn deeply asleep! That happens to me sometimes even with the big cats – in fact on Tuesday it happened with Lola. They always find such weird places to sleep at!

  7. Your voice on the videos is fine! you’re a girl and it’s ok for girls to talk like that. Unfortunately, I’m a rufty tufty man, and it would be Bad if people discovered I also talk like that.

  9. Awesome post, Robyn! Love the videos of your sweet babies. Fierce grumpy Gavin has me smitten (doesn’t one or another of all your litters?) and I again think how glad I am that I don’t live closer! LOL!
