Perchance are you scouting around for a real mama-to-be? I need kittens.
I’m not looking for anyone at the moment, since Koko will be in the foster room for the next couple of weeks. Generally, I take whatever’s offered to me, so that could turn out to be a pregnant mama, or it could be a litter of kittens. With fostering, you never know what you’re gonna get!
As mentioned in the comments yesterday, Itty Bitty Kitty Committee has kittens, Connie has kittens, and you can see Kelsey’s little Pie kittens here. The Pie kittens were born the day I posted about Koko, so I kinda feel like they were supposed to be mine? Gimme! ::grabbyhands::

Oh my that video!! It made me snicker and think of dear Spanky… Wasn’t he the one who would get looks of horror on his face when previous amorous lady cats came calling? 😉
Yes! I don’t know why the ladies fixated on Spanky as the answer to their prayers, but he was always completely baffled and horrified by it. I posted about Kara lookin’ for some love in this post. Maggie did it, too, but I can’t find a post about it, so perhaps I didn’t write about it.

Koko posing tip: Make yourself look slimmer in pictures by posing with your belly in the sun so that it gets washed out and doesn’t really show up. (This only works if your belly fur is white.)

I picked Koko up yesterday evening, and she was still groggy and a little cranky from her operation. We gave her some love and then shut the door for the night – and she didn’t make a peep. I’m sure she’ll be back to normal in a day or two, once she’s had a chance to heal.

Then Alice, who was suffering from The Zoomies, came scampering through the room, which disturbed Archie and gave him the Ears of Annoyance.

I’m a little surprised that the blanket doesn’t attract more cats – every now and then Jake or Dennis will join him, but for the most part it’s Archie’s domain.

A (somewhat) gross idea for you regarding baiting FP2.0 — do you have anything that Koko sprayed on before her spay? It likely is covered in sexy lady cat pheromones that would attract a suitor or two in need of a neutering 🙂 Also, I don’t comment often, but I read daily and love all of your updates! Especially about Archie — his RBF makes me so happy!

I actually don’t – most of it was the walls (which I cleaned up as soon as I saw it), and the rest was on a washable pad that’s already been washed. I wish I’d thought to keep it!

I’ll probably use the Beach Babies as a future naming theme – it’s such a good one!
I use WordPress – a long time ago, I used Movable Type, and I don’t remember why I switched, but I find WordPress pretty easy to use.

Archie’s pretty average sized, I’d say – he weighs 11 pounds, so he’s not the biggest or the smallest cat we’ve got, he’s right in the middle. The way he eats, I can’t believe he isn’t 20 pounds, though!
I will have to tell Holly about Koko’s posing tip. She has a white belly, and girlfriend could use a slimming tip or two…
