I had rotator cuff surgery on November 4th, and have pre-written and scheduled entries that will auto-post while I’m recovering.

Let me tell you what – three-weeks-ago Robyn sure is hoping that November-20th Robyn has healed enough to take some pictures and can type and use the mouse, because we are flat out of random pictures to share! Hopefully I’ll be back on Monday with a new post and new pictures. For today, I’ve got pictures of all the permanent residents for y’all.
Dennis and the rough, rough life.
“Pardon me, madame, would you have a kiss to spare?” (Stefan) (And yes, of course I did!)
I have such a soft spot for Archie. He looks like he would mess you UP if given half a chance, but he’s such a sweetheart. Even if he and Stefan are in the middle of a hiss-and-growl-off, I can pick him up and move him to another room, and he doesn’t scratch or bite, and doesn’t flail to get away from me.
Maxi might cut you. (Actually, she wouldn’t. She might run away from you, but she’s also one of the first residents to approach strangers for petting.)
Newt always looks like a big ol’ stuffed animal.
Deep Thoughts for the loony one.
Stinkerbelle, rolling around on the floor. There might have been some catnip involved. She might be a tiny bit hiiiiiiigh.
Joe Bob has taken to running away from the camera (Jake taught him that, I think), so here’s one of him back in 2008. He looks so YOUNG!

2010: No entry.
2009: We have located the complainer!
2008: Kittens have VERY sharp little teeth, in case you wondered.
2007: “Can’t a girl hide in a kitty condo without you flashing that thing at her all the time?!”
2006: You KNOW they’ll be showered with love as long as we have them, though!
2005: No entry.
I love Stefan’s different sized eyes!
He was giving her a wink. Such a ladies man!
Stinkerbelle ON THE FLOOR! Amazing, keep the catnip coming.
LOL…
I adore that photo of Maxi. What a face! What attitude!
Love love love today’s post. The permies are so varied & just wonderful with all their different personalities! It must be so nice to go anywhere at Crooked Acres, encounter a cat, have a sweet interaction, and move on to the next. They’re like little Walmart greeters but so much more fun!
Also, I am jealous that you get to kiss Stefan! Those cheeks!
Haha, they are exactly like Walmart greeters!
I loved each and every picture. Made me want to pet and kiss each one!
Beautiful kids you got there.
love seeing the perms!!
Ditto — this should definitely be in the favorite posts. You bring out the very best in your wonderful crew.
Hope you are helping well – love the pictures!!
What? You posted a picture of Alice without also posting the Alice Mo song?
That’s OK, I always have the song rolling around in the back of my brain anyway. Like right now.
Oops! 🙂
Oh God!!! She’s right!! WT….. LOL
I was wondering if you could share some of Fred’s magic tricks to tame a feral cat. I’ve been trying with canned food for almost a year now, and Negrito keeps fleeing whenever we get too close. The only time I am able to stroke his cheeks is when I’m holding the can for him to eat. Otherwise, he’s “see you later aligator!”. :/
Let me talk to him and see what he says, and maybe I’ll do a post about it (and all the cats he’s tamed!) next week.
Aw man. Looking at those old pictures a few years ago of Tommy and Stinkerbelle. Dang it. I still miss him and I’ve never even met him!
Hello! I hope you are feeling well and regaining mobility.
Question – are you doing xmas postcards/cards this year? I keep looking at my collection from you and can’t wait to see what this year’s card will be!
I am! I’ll start taking names and addresses the day after Thanksgiving! 🙂
