2005: I’m surprised I haven’t had a stroke yet.
I’ve forgotten, but which one was the little hissy baby-kitteh when born? I remember there was one especially that just kept hissing but can’t remember which one.
I think it was Roseanne.
Aw, I love those collages of the Fools. They’re so adorable!!
Thank you. I just love comparison pictures especially of kittens. Insert happy face here.
Me too 🙂
#WatchThemGrow — save in Lucy’s case! But seriously, many thanks for this great compilation, and I’m glad to see that Dennis is proving a stern taskmaster. Super pic of Suggie, too.
I should have changed that to #WatchHerShrink !
Poor “little” Lucy! The good thing is she will get some weight back on after the babies are off to be adopted.
I’ve read your site for years, but it’s getting hard to read for all the hashtags.
Sorry to hear that. Saturday’s posts are the only ones where hashtags are used (since I cut and paste from Instagram), so if they bother you, those would be the posts to skip.
Thanks, Robyn!
I adore your witty and inventive hashtags, Robyn!
I just ignore the hashtags. Don’t read them and enjoy the pictures!!
Ha! They’re adorbs.
In prep for meeting new kittens, I bought a new piece of cat furniture, kitten-sized for the basement. Bring new cat furniture into house. By the time everything is in the house, said furniture is under investigation by existing residents. By the time all items are put away, there’s a cat sitting on the top of it. Nope, I’mma move it when they’re done.
Go to make lunch. When lunch is prepped and in the oven, there’s a cat sacked out in the top of it. They’ve by now taken turns sitting in the top.
I’ll move it when I feed them the evening meal.
Thanks for the great weekly wrapup post!
IMHO – the Sugarbutt pic belongs on the favorite page. It cracks me up every time i see it.
Other Louis expressions:
“Toes to the wall!”
“Grow some toes!”
“Ow, my toes!”
“Buh-bye, toes. I hardly knew ye!”
Robyn, I have to share this very short story because it was all your fault. My friend Julie called to say she was checking out at the grocery store, getting her coupons in order, when the cashier said “girl grandbaby or boy grandbaby?”. Julie (just over fifty and not a mother, therefore not a grandmother), assumed the cashier was talking to someone else. Cashier repeated “girl grandbaby or boy grandbaby?”. Julie looked at her with a questioning expression, and saw the bagger hold up a jar of chicken baby food. Julie stared long enough to make the person seriously regret the grandbaby reference, than smiled and said “old cat, no teeth.”
Great story, Carolyn! 🙂
Fabulous. I, also, am not a mother…and will be turning 48 this year. Good for Julie!
Besides, some women have children later in life….
Those are some seriously cute babies. Judging by Belushi’s paw size, he’s going to be a construction foreman. Just look at those boots he’s wearing!
Is it just the lighting, or has Carlin stopped wearing bronzer on his cheeks?
(Man, if I saw one of my guys hanging over the top of the cupboards like that I have heart failure! Sugarman…)
I am seriously tempted to go to Instagram and click on the #nomodesty hashtag you have goin on there.. but I have a feeling I’d be doing an impersonation of the “Nooooo, I don’t wanna get up!” #Gilda photo
