Just one quick video today. The kittens jump from the cat tree to the top of the condo, and I’ve been trying to get it on video. I did, though it’s not terribly clear (would be better if I weren’t shooting toward the window, too.) But here’s Paul, jumping. I slowed down the actual jump so you can admire him in all his fabulousness.

Kittens are great, but few things are more touching than grown-up cats grooming. I could watch that vid of Tommy and Jake for hours.

Tommy and Jake….. SOOOOO sweet!! my day is now complete, I may just go back to bed! And, is it hard to believe you’ve only had the screen door for 1 year now? Kills me dead, since I know what picture is coming soon… your famous last words ‘no kitten has tried to climb it yet…’. Have any recent ones climbed it?
Peter climbed it, and every now and then I’ll hear one of them start to climb it, but then give up. None of them have done it quite as fabulously as your boy! 🙂

Do you ever go back and read older posts and think “holy cow what the heck?” I just read one and it said Kara doesn’t wear a collar for the fence cause she never goes over. I almost fell out of my chair laughing since she seems to now be the main one making the attempt every time her collar batter gets low. 🙂
I always just shake my head when I read that sort of thing, and think “Oh, you silly, naive woman, just you wait….” 🙂
I adore that silhouette of Pete. The kind you want framed like one of your kids.
I can’t tell you how much I love watching Tommy and Jake.
I love how Tommy is determined to keep Jake clean, even if it means licking Jake’s head ’til his eyelids get pried open! Oh well, I’m sure a few seconds of lost sleep isn’t a problem for Jake.
