“Are you sure they said 11:00? I don’t see anything in there but a roasting pan. Are we too early?”
(That picture was taken back in 2009, the first and last year we ever raised turkeys. I always say that God created chickens and then he said “Huh. I wonder if I could make something dumber than a chicken” and he did.)
Happy Thanksgiving, Americans!
Happy Thursday, non-Americans!
I am thankful for stuffing and pie and the fact that I don’t have to cook because we’re going to the in-laws’ house for gumbo (made by a real Cajun, Fred’s stepfather). But I am MOST thankful for all of y’all, who come here every day to enjoy the pictures and stories I share. You guys are AWESOME, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

“Keepin’ an eye on you, lady.”
I could spend all day kissing that little face, if he’d let me.
I love the blotches of black on his mostly-pink toebeans.
Sooner or later, they all end up in that wall basket bed.
Jethro always requires some coaxing to come over to me.
There might have been a feather teaser involved here.

Tommy would like to assure you that the grass in the back yard is nothing nearing this green right now; this picture is from June. Right now, the back yard is all brown and dead-looking, and he spends more time inside than out, because he’s hibernating.

Adding a “ditto” to everything everyone has said. You and Fred rock! 😀
I’m “ditto-ing” everyone else’s comments too. Can’t thank you enough, Robyn and Fred, for everything you do for the kitties and for entertaining us with them through this blog. This is a highlight of every day!
P.S. — forgot to ask you, Robyn, could you add the following in Friday’s post, if it’s not too late (I know you do each day’s post well in advance…):
Thank you to the reader who gave wonderful suggestions when I asked for feedback last week for my Tuxie t-shirt design. I especially loved her suggestions for other cats to feature. I need to find the appropriate graphic for those, but once I do, I’ll definitely be doing some of those as well.
