Troi and Kes are still loving the cat tree (they all are, really.)
You can’t see her all that well, but Uhura is lying on that platform, and yes – Troi is nursing, Spock had just been nursing, and Janeway’s giving me the “You got a problem?” face.
Uhura’s all “Just when I think I’ve gotten away…”
Troi’s helping out with cleanup ’cause she’s a giver.
Kirk is checking out the antenna on top of the ship while Troi waits inside.
“What’s he DOING up there? We’re gonna miss our scheduled blastoff time!”

Alice Mo in the pink cube, givin’ me attitude. ‘Cause I’m not her DADDYYYY.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Uhura’s Basepaws DNA test is back! Turns out… she’s a little of this, a little of that. 🙃 (Who’s surprised? Not me!) (Go here to see the results; I’m not going to copy and paste that here in the blog since I just shared it in yesterday’s post.)
Remember earlier this year when we fostered scaredy-cats Lincoln and Lilly? They went home to Colorado and joined big brother Indiana, and this is what they look like now!
Melinda reports: “Lincoln is 11 pounds now. Still loves green bean toy and still obsessed with big brother Indiana (has followed him around from day 1). Lillian is 9 pounds now. Still loves lap time. And insists her food be brought to her.”
Listen, y’all – they were cute when we were fostering them, but they have grown up to be stunners, haven’t they? So beautiful, and so at home. I love it! ❤️ (Thanks, Melinda!)
(Side note: You can follow Indiana, Lincoln and Lillian on Facebook here.)

Spock jumps on Mama, Janeway chases her tail, Kirk plays in the litter box… and then they race through the room like a herd of elephants. It’s an action-packed video!
Spock’s saving that blop of Churu for later. You never know when you’re gonna need a little snack, and he believes in being prepared.

Troi is one happy purrbaby.
Spock and Kirk have a tussle while Mama supervises – and Kes watches from a safe distance.
Good night innernets. (From all the little Trekklings. And yes, there was a milk bar there, and it wandered right off. The NERVE.)

Alice! Such a sweetheart! Does she ever not look grumpy as hell?
Oh I guess emojis don’t work. I swear I put a lol face emoji after the last sentence, it seems so harsh without it, should have just typed lol. Lol
That’s her Resting Alice Face at work. She’s a happy girl, she just isn’t drawn that way. 🙂
Love Janeway’s wet blanket face. She looks so put out when you take a pic (and she’s always looking at the camera it seems).
So love foster updates!
Someone sounds maybe a wee bit spoiled? Having her food brought to her? Not that she doesn’t deserve it!
Troi’s little face in the “What’s he DOING up there?” picture is absolutely cracking me up.
GREAT to see Lincoln and Lillian!!!
This litter sure is a bunch of cuties (though I keep laughing at their names because my husband is a HUGE Star Trek geek) and mama Uhura is SUCH a gorgeous girl, I’m sending out tons of good vibes that they all find the most wonderful homes ever when the time for adoptions rolls around!
Also, in the 2014 entry, you had made up a chart detailing your permanent residents and their personalities, including likes and dislikes and different traits or quirks, etc. That was almost 10 years ago, and I have to say it’s rather sobering to this long-time reader (I think I started reading in 2009 when the True Bloods were in residence) to look at it and realize how many on the list have gone over the Rainbow Bridge since then, wow. Anyway, having said that: Would you perhaps be willing to update that spreadsheet with entries for your current clowder? No great hurry or anything, but I’d be interested to hear about Dewey and Khal and Charlie in comparison.
I actually looked at that when I was putting together the post, and it’s utterly amazing to me how many cats have come and gone in that time (I keep saying that one day I’m going to put together a timeline of permanent residents who have come and gone; perhaps that will happen… SOME DAY). But as far as an updated personality chart, yeah – I can do that, hopefully soonish.
