Flookdate! (That’s a Flynn & Hook (formerly Puff) Update, for those who aren’t in the know.)
It’s been a couple of weeks so here are some current pictures!
He loves hanging out in my shower. If I lose him chances are he’s in the tub just sitting there.
If I do something to make him mad (like not give him food every time I walk into the kitchen!) he goes and pouts to his big brother about how cruel I am!
Things are still going well! It’s been a month today and you would think they’ve been together since they were born!
Their faces in that third picture is killing. Me. DEAD. Hook is totally saying “I TOLD ON YOU!” SO CUTE.
(Thanks again for the update and pics, Selena!!!)

Sunny & Stripey (the kittens formerly known as Mr. Stripey and Sungold) Update!
I’d tell you who’s who, but I honestly don’t remember any more! If I was forced to guess, I’d say that’s Sunny on the left, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
“Oh, those humans. They just can’t file worth anything. I’m going to have to redo this WHOLE BOX!”
Best cat TV ever!
I love their matching cat trees – and their view!
Thanks for the pics, Lynn – those boys are certainly leading a pampered life! 🙂

When I bought a Groupon and didn’t realize just how big a 20×24 canvas picture is, imagine my surprise when this arrived.
That’s my favorite picture of Tubby, and trust me – it’s BIG. It’s certainly bigger than the cat himself was, and he was NOT a small cat. I didn’t expect it to be quite that big, and every time I walk through the dining room and see it, I’m taken by surprise again. It wasn’t my intention to have a HUMONGOUS picture of Tubby hanging there (I expected it to be smaller because obviously I wasn’t paying attention to the small print that TOLD me what size it would be). I can’t decide what to do with it – Fred said he wouldn’t mind having it in his office, but his office is fairly small and that picture… is so BIG. But the more I see it, the more I like it.
I know, it’s a terrible dilemma, isn’t it? (But seeing it, and how BIG it is, makes me laugh every time I see it!)

Brandon, stalking Stefan. I love Brandon’s spots!
Norbie’s crazy eyes are cracking me up.
Jon Snow really likes to stretch out when he sleeps.
Tomorrow, Hodor and Brandon are off to Petsmart. Jon Snow will be staying here until either Hodor or Brandon is adopted, and then he’ll go to join whoever’s left. I have no clue when that will be – could be soon, could be a while. We shall see!
(You’ll likely be seeing pictures of Hodor and Brandon for at least part of next week, ’cause I’ve got a bunch on the camera that still need to be shared.)

Sheriff Mama takes a rest. This backyard-law-enforcing job is a tough one, and she’s gotta keep rested in case she has to run after one law breaker or another (Newt, she’s looking in your direction.)

2012: Impossibly Petey Pickle would be an excellent name for a sitcom, wouldn’t it?
2011: Princess Poutyface not only has a forever home, she also has a forever sister!
2010: No entry.
2009: No entry.
2008: My monkeys are going to the pet store today! ::sob::
2007: Fred spends so much time talking about how gorgeous Stinkerbelle is, that I feel like he’s having a midlife crisis, only instead of dumping me for a younger, prettier model, he brought The Other Woman to live in my house.
2006: No entry.
2005: “Is someone in the kitchen? OH MY GOD! SOMEONE’S IN THE KITCHEN!”
Tubby has been, and will likely always be, my favorite Crooked Acre feline resident. That boy … gosh I miss him, and I only knew him through your photos and posts! Keep the photo where it is, and order another -smaller- one for Fred-a-doodle’s office.
I have no idea why I referred to himself thusly. Just flowed.
<3
I have other ideas for Fred’s office (evil laugh), but you’re right – I was intending to get those pictures put on canvas as well and hang them over the mantel, but I could hang them in the hallway instead!
Is that a picture of the Spud below Tubby? I wonder what she will think when the cat’s picture is ABOVE hers and WAY bigger than hers! LOL
I love the huge Tubby picture. I would keep it there. If you move the smaller family photos the picture will probably not look so big. Nothing to compare with..move the kids to the office, lol. Just my decorative opinion.
Gonna miss the Hodor & Brandon..any newbies coming in?
Great idea about moving the smaller family photos. Then Tubby will look in proportion with the brick wall.
I agree!
No newbies yet, but I’m working on it! 🙂
It looks to me like Sunny/Stripey/ and Puff landed in perfect homes. In fact I would really like to live with Stripey and Sunny. That looks like a lovely home with that deck and backyard. Lucky kitties and lucky hoomins.
Anyone ever have a kitten do a head tilt and keep it tilted? Four weeks old. Vet says no ear infection. Poor little runt has enough trouble keeping up with her giant brothers and sisters and now can’t see straight. Looking for ideas. On antibiotics and supplemental feedings but is still nursing. Also, uses ten litter box and everything looks good.
I’ll post this in tomorrow’s post, Gail (though someone might weigh in before then). I haven’t had to deal with that issue (YET), but hopefully someone will have a suggestion.
Lucky, lucky fosters who found spectacular furever homes! Makes me (and you, and all your readers) happy to see that someone will have the bestest kitties ever due to the loving way they were raised from birth to the day of their adoptions.
Thanks to those kitty moms who sent the pix!
Tubby continues to be larger than life. I like it hanging there, I would totally laugh every time I saw it too. Yay for Puff, Sunny & Stripey!!
love the picture of Tubby – but it does look big. 🙂 the updates are awesome. extra kisses to the boys before they leave
Awwww. Always good to hear from former fosters in their forever homes.
Puff is such a happy boy, with a good mom, a great brother, I couldn’t write a better ending.
And those sunshine boys! I love the matching cat trees in the dining room. Now that says spoiled!
I only hope that Brandon and Hodor find homes like these. I’m always going to think of Hodor with his little Heat Miser hair do when he arrived.
I love how the sunlight plays across Norbie Considering..
I once got a 8×10 canvas, and I was surprised at how small it was.. so I kinda know the feeling
“Hodor” she said sniffingly…. :\
Great idea… take a shower!!!!
Lovely babies!
All I wanna know is who got the Rock Crawler Extreme? You, or Fred? That looks almost big enough to drive some kittens around, Roomba style.
I just have one question for Sunny’s & Stripey’s mom: Did you stage those photos by the table or can you actually keep placemats (and other nice things) there? Every day we wake up to all the placemats on the floor, as well as anything else we plopped on the table.
Yeah, we’ve tried the no-running-in-the-house thing, but it doesn’t work!
Oh Norbie, how the tables have turned! It was just this Monday that pictures showed you squooshing Arya in the RC car box. I think Jon Snow is getting you back in his sister’s place!
You now have TWO Ceiling Cats watching you. Better be good.
I love the giant picture of Tubby. I’d be in favor of getting giant pictures of all the permanent residents ever and basically just tiling an entire wall with them, but I can be extreme like that.
Godspeed, Brandon and Hodor: may you work your kitten magic soonest. And how excellenr to see Sheriff Mama lying down on the job!
Yay for the updates – those are some happy boys!
Oh, Jon Snow, you are such a snuggable marshmallow puff!
And yes, you deserve a break, Kara – you know there will be plenty of naughty behavior on your watch soon enough!
