Arya update!!!
Kathy said:
Just wanted to let you know that we decided to let Arya have the run of the house today. Buddy was himself again after us being gone, and was very curious about who was in my bedroom. We let her out at about 9:30am. She came bounding out of the room and began thoroughly exploring the house. She loved it! Buddy was wary, but followed her everywhere. He did run when she chased after him a couple of times, but kept coming back to watch her. It is only a matter of time before they are best buds.
She is so lovey! She slept with me last night, and slept on my pillow the whole time. We took a nap together later, and then she laid with me while I read (see pic). We are so happy to have her!
That second picture, where she’s all stretched out asleep while Kathy read? OMG SO CUUUUUTE. (Also, the pictures of Buddy clearly trying to figure out WHAT that little scary thing could BE is just killing me dead!)
Thank you so very much for the update and pictures, Kathy!!!

Stinkerbelle, atop her kitchen cabinets, judging you. Yes, YOU. I think you know why.

Another kitten safely delivered to the ideal home!
Yup, Arya is going to be just fine. How wonderful to recap her growing up, paired together with her very happy ending! Which is, of course, a beginning.
Couldn’t have said it better myself! Ditto!!!
Hurrah for Arya!
Awwww, like a proud mama myself looking through Arya’s pictures – yet, I didn’t do anything! I just watched and ooohhed and aaahhed from many many miles away! Thank you, Robyn for sharing Arya and all your litters with us. Thank you, Kathy, for giving Arya her furrever home and the update – hoping to continue seeing Arya around! Yep, today has started so nicely, surely I can now move on to moving mountains, ruling the world, and creating world peace! Thank you!!!
Thanks for the photo timeline Robyn. And the pictures of the beginning of her new life. I just LOLd as I looked at Kathy’s pics. That fir Arya just marched herself, took a look around, said “this’ll do” and took over. She has taken over Kathy’s arm, the HamMick, the kitty condo,Kathy’s pillow. Too funny. Our girl is doing just fine. I think she will be a fine Overlord in Kathy’s house.
I expected her to be pretty confident in her new home – I didn’t expect her to be THAT confident THAT fast, though! I told Kathy that Arya has NO fear, and she’s certainly proving me right!
Such an adorable Arya! And so very lucky to find a purfect home! Yay for Arya. Loved the growing up photos.
Yeah for Arya and her new family!!!! great update – we knew it wouldn’t take long for her to have things just like she wants them π
I’m so glad Arya has a nice new home, but I’ll miss seeing her cute little face everyday. I find it rather coincidental that she has a three-year-old brother to harrass. We, too have a Calico, Holly, who showed up at our house just before Christmas in 2009 and was just about Arya’s age now (and looks an awful lot like her). She immediately fell in looooovvvvveeee with our then three-year-old boy cat, Max. He, however, does not feel the same about her! He literally gives her the “talk to the paw” gesture when she gets too close to him–one front leg outstretched as far as he can, paw towards her. She gets the message, but reluctantly (she is a Calico, after all–very headstrong).
So, it makes me smile that Arya now has her own “Max” to harrass! I foresee lots of fun in that household in the coming years! Congratulations! π
such moxie, I love it. ” hmm, Ill take the ham- mick, this other sleeping spot and this nice lady.” Arya needs a Facebook page!
This is so cute I can hardly stand it. It must be wonderful for people who adopt cats to get to see photos and read stories about their babyhood.
Ayra couldn’t look any more comfortable in her new home. Thank you, Robyn, for helping grow such a sweet little girl and thank you, Kathy, for sharing your new sweetie with us!
And thanks too, Robyn, for that beautiful picture of the enigmatic Stinkerbelle.
It’s a shame that she’s not photogenic!! It sounds like she found the perfect new home!!
BTW, did you warn them about her uh, licking habit? Especially after the *ahem* herbal suppliments?
If they didn’t know before, they probably know now! π
Thank you Robyn for the wonderful photo timeline – and thank you Kathy for such a speedy update. Yup. She has found her perfect family and home! I hope you will keep us posted from time to time as this beautiful girl grows up!
This post is Ayraific! π (I’m so punny) Beautiful montage.. thank you for sharing it and I love the updates and photos of her in her new home!
You know you’re a true Love and Hisses fan when you see something like picture #6 and automatically think, “Paws up, y’all!” π
Arya is a beautiful little cat and it seems like she’ll have a wonderful home with Kathy. I wish them all the best!
Robyn, congratulations on making it possible for yet another kitten to find a happy forever home. You do an amazing job of raising wonderful kittens and it’s awesome that you let us share the experience.
OMG, fantastic bebbeh calico cuteness overload retro! Thank you, Robyn! And yes, I am jealous of Kathy. But so happy for her, Arya and the rest of the family! A long happy life full of love for y’all! (And more updates, pretty please?)
