The milk bar snoozes while the patrons serve themselves.
Tina goes to grab a bite to eat, leaving behind this pile o’ cute. Carmy & Jeff in the back, Sydney & Richie in the front.
Carmy considers his next move while Tina keeps a close watch in the background.
Tina and Sydney have a snuggle.
I tried marking one of Sydney’s ears with a tiny dab of yellow fingernail polish, and Tina did not care for the smell. So I won’t reapply it – in the next few days I’ll probably put collars on her and Jeff to make it easier to tell them apart. MOST of the time I can tell them apart, but sometimes it ain’t easy (I can always pick them up and check for Sydney’s white bikini bottoms, but I like to be able to tell who’s who at a glance.)

Behold! Charlie has shoved his bulk into that basket.
And then he stayed there for the better part of the afternoon.
I call this “Twenty pounds of Charlie in a fifteen pound basket.”

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
I have captured one hisseroo from Jeff. Like I’ve said, this bunch hardly ever hisses (and now that I think about it, I think it’s mostly Jeff who does), so I’m glad I managed to grab a picture of one.
Do you remember THIS sweet girl? Sure you do, it’s only been a few months! That’s Crumpet, mama to Pumpernickel, Ciabatta, Babka, Crouton, and Pita! Look at that sweet girl – she is living the life she deserves. ❤️
(Thank you, Geeta!)
I forgot to do this with Carmy when he was 1 week old, but here he is at 11 days old, and Richie, Jeff and Sydney at 1 week old! You can’t tell from this picture, but Sydney’s eyes are starting to think about opening. Richie and Jeff heard from Carmy that there’s nothing worth looking at, so they’re going to just keep their eyes closed, thank you. Weights are below – all kittens are gaining weight every day and doing well.
Carmy: 9.7 oz/ 275 g
Richie: 7.4 oz/209.8 g
Jeff: 6.8 oz/ 192.8 g
Sydney: 7.1 oz/201.3 g

I weighed Tina this morning to see what she weighs, and it made her really mad, so I came back a while later to see if she’s still mad at me (doesn’t seem to be!) and yammered on about her weight while the kittens wiggled about.
Good night innernets. (From the pile o’ cute. Hard to tell where one ends and the next one begins!)

Crumpet looks a little spoiled, surrounded by toys and looking healthy.
And she deserves it!
She is SO loved! I think all my fosters deserve wonderful homes, of course, but always think the mamas should get homes that are just a little MORE wonderful – and they always do!
Charlie gives new meaning to muffin top
He really does!
Crumpet is looking fabulous!! So happy she is loved so much.
Tina is such a good momma!! She accepted Carmy so quickly and he is now hers.
Charlie!!! OMG soooo funny!! He really puts “if I fits, I sits” to the test in that basket. And not one bit of self-consciousness about it. LOL
