Spock’s hanging out with his mama.
Kirk really likes those blankets.
Spock considers climbing into my lap.
Troi’s in the litter box all by herself, and that thousand yard stare cracks me up.
Spock and Kes. These two do spend a lot of time curled up together. We may be looking at a bonded pair (or we may not. We’ll see in the weeks to come.)
A moment in the foster room: Uhura keeping a casual eye on the kittens, Troi in the chair with Mister Frog, Spock rolling off the back of the cat bed, Kes biting the side of the cat bed, and Janeway looking at Kes’s tail. Not shown: Kirk, who was in my lap.
Is it just me, or do the markings on Troi’s chest kind of make it look like she’s wearing a bustier? (Also, she’s getting ready to double-kick Kirk in the face, I think.)

I mean, why come inside where there’s central air, when you can flop onto your back on the screened porch where it’s roughly one million degrees? While wearing a fur coat? You do you, Khal.

The kittens aren’t sure whether they want to roll out of bed, or roll over and go back to sleep.
It’s Toesday, so please admire Spock’s pink and gray beans.

In this video, Troi:
has a complaint
tussles with Janeway
toddles about
has a taillight (the tip of her tail is white)
greets Mama
goes through the tunnel scratcher
and has another complaint or two, for good measure.
I cannot stop laughing at the expression on Uhura’s face at Janeway just casually stomping across her.

Kirk and Spock in the crate, doing their thing. Kirk works on his skitterbug skills and does a few laps around the crate (and then rolls around on his back waving his legs around, because he knows I cannot stand how utterly adorable that is.) Also, Spock purrs briefly!
They’re learning to grab, bite, and kick their toys. (To be fair, they’ve been grabbing, biting, and kicking each other since about birth, but at least toys don’t squeal in outrage and fight back.) (Kirk)
Good night innernets. (Kes, Spock and Uhura)

This group of little ones seem to be growing so fast! They seem to be maturing much faster than usual. Are you seeing that?
They truly look (and act) like mini-kitties. Not much rolling around, like the last litter, that really stressed me out (but in a good way). 😉
on the hottest days, I run my portable ac in the living room leaving the rest of my apt sweltering. where are the 2 cats? laying in a hot sun puddle in my bedroom.
Khal is not alone
I can totally see the bustier on Troi’s chest! And it’s trimmed with marabou 🙂
I know your kitten room is 100% safe for kittens, but how often do you see the mamas actively intervene between the kittens and their environment, or even each other? Do they ever call them to the milk bar or back in the crate, etc?
