In case you missed it on social media yesterday, the kittens are out of the crate! Unlike some litters who come BURSTING out of the crate never to return, these guys really like to still hang out in the crate.
Kes was the last one out of the crate, and likes to go back to the crate for napping and playing.
Spock keeps an eye on the structural integrity of the crate, just to be safe.
Janeway keeps an eye on the ol’ homestead, too.
Here comes Kirk, out to see what’s the what.
Kirk really likes that he can track down the milk bar whenever his little heart desires.
Kirk goes exploring, while mama keeps a close eye on him.
“They’re EVERYWHERE now, lady!” she complains.
Troi checks to see if there’s anything worth leaving the crate for.
Yesterday morning I set up litter boxes for the kittens, and when I went back into the room a couple of hours later, one of the kittens (not entirely sure which, but either Kirk or Spock) had pee in it. Brilliant babies.

Troi (and eventually Janeway) are OUT of the crate, but I’m going to say it doesn’t realllly count. She lured them out with the milk bar! Who could resist that?! (They stayed out long enough to nurse, and then went back into the crate and fell asleep. Spock and Kes never did leave the crate. So I guess they were able to resist the lure of the milk bar.)
And Spock is OUTTA there, followed by Troi. Spock’s one kicked-up back foot sets off my cute aggression.
Troi’s all “Oooh, is that the milk bar? Don’t mind if I do!”
Kirk’s on the outside looking in. (They’re all going in and out of the crate constantly now.)

The milk bar’s hoppin’, and I think Uhura likes being able to REALLY stretch out.
Good night innernets. (Janeway)
