In case you missed it on social media yesterday…
Benjamin and Honey went home! I think I mentioned this before, but they’re joining a family with a couple of older cats and two young kids. They did so well with the kids when the family visited a couple of weeks ago that I think things will go very smoothly and they will be spoiled rotten, as they (as all!) kittens deserve.
Today’s pictures will be (I think) the last of my Benjamin and Honey pictures. First up…
One of my first pictures of Benjamin, next to one of my last.
Benjamin at 5 1/2 weeks old and at 12 weeks old. The boy grew a bit!

Clyde and Cutey have a snuggle, right next to Benjamin.
Oh, that boy. His white ear tufts kill me.
Look how happy Bunny looks here. You’d never know the GREAT AMOUNT OF TIME she spends hissing at and smacking the kittens.
I’m thinking Benjamin’s going to have green eyes like his mama.
This leaves us with Bunny, Lola and Bugs, and Clyde and Cutey. Clyde and Cutey will go home in about 2 weeks, after they’re spayed and neutered. No homes yet for Bunny and for Lola and Bugs; I wish their people would hurry up already!

Archie’s trying to NAP here and doesn’t appreciate the interruption.

2019: Amelie and her great big cartoonish eyes is just the CUTEST.
2018: Otis, Eliot and Buxton all got baths for a reason I’d rather not get into but rhymes with shmingshmerm and comes with its own theme song that goes “Oh good (profanity)(profanity) why is this happening to meeeee why why (profanity) why?!”
2017: Mama needs a minute, kids.
2016: No entry.

2008: Truly, he is SUCH a Momma’s boy.
2007: The worst part of the whole experience was finally getting hold of Tommy and starting to climb down the fence, and Tommy losing his mind, clawing at me, getting free, and leaping onto the ground from about ten feet up.
2006: No entry.
2005: No entry.
Yay, yay! Happy day for Honey and Benjamin!!
Also, oh man, the 2007 entry: “I started my day yesterday fifteen feet up in the air, hanging onto a ladder for dear life while Fred called encouragement, trying to grab Tommy from the tree limb where he’d set up house.” HAHA!!
Haha, Archie is exhausted from keeping the family safe from dishtowels.
Honey looks so much like her mama to me in shape in the recent photo of her with her name blocks.
So happy for these two!
I know I shouldn’t be, but I’m always so sad when the first kittens leave. Blessings to the Bunny Babies! I love seeing the pics of Amelie from last year. She was such a little doll.
Hahaha!! “Look how happy Bunny looks here. You’d never know the GREAT AMOUNT OF TIME she spends hissing at and smacking the kittens.” Too funny!! Bet she is ready to be kitten-free in her furever home.
Do I sense a theme with all your covers and blankets?? LOL I am just as bad, cat theme is my main theme. Very easy to please with gifts, cat theme is a thumbs up.
Re Family nap: “When you wash out your cat collection, be sure to lay them out to dry so that they won’t wrinkle.”
